Growing up in the South Island of New Zealand we take for granted what we thought is a given right to everyone: Clean Air. New Zealand has a tiny population in relation to the size of the island and large swaths of native rain forest kept pristine. These rain forests create the delicious clean air we compress, made cleaner and crisper by swirling around in the snow-covered Southern Alps.
Our aim is to provide a refreshing experience for people that might not necessarily have access to the same clean, crisp air that can often be taken for granted. Everyone used to laugh about bottled water however it is now the norm. People began to appreciate the taste and purity of spring water. It is the same for our compressed air. If you live in a polluted city some breaths of fresh air might be just what you need to rise above the smog.
Oxygenz Air is recently harvested air compressed using a unique compression method from the southern alps of New Zealand.

This project began as a simple idea shared among two friends and has developed over many months into the current product we are looking to fund. Since its humble beginnings Oxygenz Air has grown from simply a name on paper into a physical product that offers a unique taste of New Zealand.
Our air is sourced from high up in the mountains surrounding Queenstown, NZ. This location is where we believe the best tasting air in New Zealand (if not the world) is found. Anyone who has experienced the snow caped peaks surrounding Queenstown will agree that this air is the best of the best. The cleanest, crispest, freshest air available.
As two environmentally conscious individuals we are focused on not only sharing our fresh air, but also plan to increase the clean air resource available in New Zealand. This will be achieved through a proportion of the profit made from selling the Oxygenz Air product being used to plant trees throughout New Zealand.
Our product aim is to become the premier supplier of high quality bottled air. We believe that New Zealand has access to superior quality air that can be bottled and sold as a premium product for users.
Our company is a small scale producer at present and we are looking for the support that would allow us to grow into a prominent market leader in the air industry.
We have currently hand compressed and packaged 500 canisters which are full of clean crisp are sourced from the mountains surrounding Queenstown, NZ. We have further cans on order and will be compressing as demand requires.
Our Oxygenz Air product retails for NZD$24.99. We are pleased to have now sent our first order to China and are hoping to establish relationships that allow our product to be sold through New Zealand retail stores as we grow. The additional funding we require is to invest in equipment that will allow our company to grow in scale and enable us to produce our fresh air product in greater quantities. Our Investment goal of $5000 is only the minimum of what we require to grow this business and represents only the cost of upgrading our compressing method to utilise more specialised equipment.
In the long run we hope this funding can provide a base that we can build upon and grow the brand through a wider range of products including different bottling locations and canister sizes.
In essence the more funding we receive, the larger this company can grow allowing more people to enjoy the fresh air we think everyone should have access too.

One of our main challenges is in our ability to fulfil large quantity orders. Producing a large quantity of product requires forward planning and a serious investment of time throughout the bottling and packaging process. To help mitigate this risk we have placed pending orders on the cans and packaging we require. Furthermore, we have been investigating specific equipment that can fill multiple units at once to ensure our time is used as efficiently as possible. The funding made available through this kick starter campaign will be an essential input that allows this growth to occur.
Another challenge we have identified is through different consumers preferences on the bottling location of the fresh air. As the brand grows we anticipate that end users may desire a variety of different tasting air from various locations throughout New Zealand. We are expecting growth and are planning to have operation to include various bottling locations such as: the crisp scent of a fresh pine forest, smooth salty undertones of Akaroa, the cooling charm of a New Zealand native Beech forest or a lakeside breeze captured on the shoreline of Lake Tekapo.
A risk we have identified is the language barrier that may exist with international customers. As we grow and increase sales we will look to extend our reach into overseas markets. Initially we have enlisted the services of a translator to ensure our website has information for international purchasers. We are also looking to connect through E-commerce platforms and international trade platforms to enter markets with the air of their agents and language advantages. As Oxygenz grows we will also look at establishing permanent distribution centres in the countries where demand is high.
As with every business we understand that competition is a challenge that we will be exposed too. We are confident that our product offers the highest quality air available and is a premium product. We believe that the purity and freshness of out product will give us a market advantage over our competitors.
