The” OVAO MONZA” was born by a common vision and a passion for the race cars. The product is a result of work from skilled Italian craftsmen. The clock classic and elegant style of the wristwatches can be attributed to the excellent materials used to build them, and at the same time they are sporty, recalling Italian motor racing world of the 70s and 80s …. The wristwatches could only be called Monza.
3 SPIRITS OF OVAO WRISTWATCHES
The Ovao Team created a design where 3 spirits converge in order to express your personality at best: Monza Carbonio for the extreme sportsman, this model was made to suit those who have a thing or two for sporting. Then the Monza Corsa, majorly for the sporting fan who looks to spot a smart but casual wristwatch to wear at all times occasions. And at last the Monza Lesmo, like the other models this was made with attention to detail, but it was designed for the person who wishes to appear in an elegant looking wristwatch to match an elegant dress, and on an elegant occasion.
Every Ovao watch is hand assembled with craftsmanship by our Italian Team of experienced watchmakers from generations.
Each element is crafted with extreme care and workmanship, with the ultimate goal of creating a superior quality timepiece.
Monza Carbonio Series are made by CARBON FIBER FORGED COMPOSIT.
Carbon Forged Composite is a synthetic composite material produced in an alliance between Lamborghini and Callaway Golf Company who introduced it in their Sesto Elemento concept car and Diablo Octane drivers, respectively.
It mostly consists of carbon and is one-third as dense as metal titanium but stronger. It is composed of bundles of microscopic carbon fibers held together in a resin. It uses about 500,000 intertwined turbostratic fibers per square inch. Instead of traditional woven carbon fiber sheets impregnated with resin it uses a malleable paste of carbon and resin.
A SPARKLING SYMPHONY TO ENHANCE THE WATCH AND ENCHANT THE WEARER.
The dials of Monza Carbonio Series #1, #28, #23 and Monza Lesmo #8 feature sparkling Amorphous Diamonds up to 0.30 carat. Amorphous Diamond is a Diamond conjured in the lab with "Amorphous Diamond Growing Technic" which is very hi-tech, and can be used to make tiny diamond (pure carbon) and also create tiny diamond alighted combination.
Refractive Index:2.36; ( Single refraction index, same as diamond ); Relative Density: 5.5g /cm3; Dispersion:0.066; Hardness: 8.5-9.2; Clarity and Color: VVS1 in clarity ; E Color .
Automatic movements Ovao harness energy through the natural motion of the wearer’s wrist. Watches with automatic movements are very popular because the wearer doesn’t have to worry about winding the watch daily to ensure constant operation. As long as the watch is worn regularly, it will maintain power without requiring winding.
How an Automatic Movement Works:
An automatic movement works largely the same way that manual movements do, with the addition of a metal weight called a rotor. The rotor is connected to the movement and it can rotate freely. With each movement of the wrist, the rotor spins, transferring energy and automatically winding the mainspring.

Risks and challenges
We are beginners on Kickstarter, but we work in the project market since 2001 and our manufacturing partners have years of experience in the industry too.
We have made all design and development phase and we have a large number of prototypes, this is the reason because our goal is relative down.
