I'm pretty sure my OUYA has bricked it self. I've left it alone for a few months, come back to play broken age, and all I see if the tiny U and darkness. Guess I'm going to have to try those ridiculous procedures to boot into recovery mode.

    2. Creator H1o on March 5

      I'm so happy:
      doesn't get the device,
mailed them and they said that the special device isn't there and they don't produce new ones,
because of that i get my money back via paypal...

    3. Creator Martin Parizeau on February 27

What a complete fail!!! I was so disappointed once I got it, but then my smile came back once I GAVE it away

    4. Creator Paul Allen on July 16, 2014

Surprised there are so many unfulfilled claims in the comments. They went to commercial release. There should now be excessive legal choices available to those that have a need of them.

I wasn't happy with the hardware in the end, particularly the controller :( Just didn't work reliably, and the buttons would stick under their gimmicky battery covers.

But it shipped, and it worked enough for me to enjoy Towerfall, so I view it as an idea that was worth investing in. Who knows what else might have been inspired that's to this project actually completing. Maybe it's what finally got Steam boxes to be a thing, or helped another hardware company know what revisions to make to their own developments.

"After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign..." wtf TechCrunch? lmao

    6. Creator Brent Roberts on June 29, 2014

Lol that's the biggest joke I've read this year about OUYA. They are the joke of the industry given that smartphones are more powerful. If you are an indie company or game designer, then Microsoft and Sony are the way to go.

    7. Creator Dave Woods [Owner of the Daffy Duck] on June 5, 2014

So it's been nearly a year since Julie got pissed... And how many people still have not got what they pledged for?

    8. Creator Sideview on May 23, 2014

me 2 .. i receive the extra controller but i have not received my console + controller. ??

    9. Creator James Shing on April 13, 2014

Sorry, I am one of the backer of OUYA, since now I still haven’t received my OUYA yet. Can u update to me please?

      Thanks a lot.

    10. Creator AG Umbrella on April 6, 2014

We haven't received our additional controller!!! All we keep getting are messages that don't solve our issue. At least we should get the money back. Without us they would not have OUYA!

    11. Creator Dilbert the Animated Series on March 2, 2014

      Report them for sure

    12. Creator Erik Ledyard on February 24, 2014

I got my refund within days of reporting these bastards to the Better Business Bureau. I advise anybody else who is having trouble getting their money back do the same.

    13. Creator Nikki on February 10, 2014

      @Mark Amaro

As per Kickstarter for Projects: "Backers expect to connect with you through Kickstarter so it's best to use our tools for sending updates and messages and asking for information. Avoid asking people to sign up for another service as it can be confusing and leads to errors."

Ouya should be continuing to utilise Kickstarter to deal with their KS backers, that is where people pledged, not their website or anywhere else. Just look to your right, over 8 million dollars pledged. They owe their backers much better than how, disgracefully, they have treated so many. They still have not delivered to all of their pledges. Unsure why anyone would be an ouya-apologist after watching this all unfold.

    14. Creator Nathan Liknes on February 2, 2014

for those who haven't received a refund in my experience it takes spamming there twitter with support numbers for three month then they shall refund you, but not with shipping or any thing else you may have paid for.

    15. Creator Mohammad on January 31, 2014

      @Filipe Cunha

simply harass them until you get refund ... that's what I did and I guess most people also did

I guess they ended up delivering 10% of the lame so-called console

    16. Creator Filipe Cunha on January 29, 2014

Hello, it's been a while since my order shipped (almost 7 months now), but I haven't received it yet. How can I get a refund?

    17. Creator lilbuddhaman on January 22, 2014

i bought this as a streambox and an occasional android-casual game box. Due to the controller being trash and there being no market/google play access, that latter simply doesn't exist. As a streambox (XBMC primarily) it is functional, but extremely slow. I shoulda bought a roku/Pi.

    18. Creator Aureliano Fazio Baiz on January 21, 2014

Lmao, and to think i almost got lynched by OUYA fans not so long ago when i wrote some negative comments here, and now even the fanboys turned against Ouya.

I'm so glad i opted for a refund in time. I walked out of an horrible raw deal.

    19. Creator PegasusOrgans-Graywalkers VIP on January 13, 2014

People, you can ask for a refund. You know that, right? I asked for a refund, and, while it took some time, the team honored the request and refunded my money. I'm sure they're doing well enough to refund all the ppl that have serious issues on here.

In the end, I'm glad I did the refund. Not because the system wouldn't work, but because I honestly have way too many games to play with just Steam sales alone.

    20. Creator Mark Amaro on January 10, 2014

Stop using kickstarter to complain they have their own site now. Wouldn't you leave an unorganized comment system with 63,416 whining babies to make your own organized support site where you can get one on one help?

    21. Creator Paul Mather on January 8, 2014

OUYA appeared in a KickStarter 2013 year in review email I got today:…
It said "OUYA powered up" but they left off "and EPIC FAIL'D"

    22. Creator Brent Roberts on January 6, 2014

Hound that dumb bitch Julie on Twitter and send mass emails to SCREWYA demanding a refund. Send more than 10 tweets and emails a day and do not stop till you get to the bottom of it. If that doesn't work go onto their Facebook and official website and demand your answers there. OUYA and Julie can shit in an OUYA bc they make great portable toilets

    23. Creator Eugene Zheng Yong Sheng on January 5, 2014

Last post from OUYA was june; i guess its the end of the road for the cpy.

    24. Creator Filipe Cunha on January 4, 2014

Hello, it's been a while since my order shipped (almost 7 months now), but I haven't received it yet. What can I do?

    25. Creator RZX on January 3, 2014

It's already getting quiet around Ouya and I hope it will die soon.
Even with all the investment money they couldn't get some hot games.
I'll enjoy my PS3 cfw so long. Have fun!

    26. Creator Brian Hendrickson on December 12, 2013

I traded mine in on Amazon for $40.70. I was shocked they gave me that much for it. What a waste.

    27. Creator Brent Roberts on December 12, 2013

All who are complaining about OUYA and that stupid bitch Julie need to also take some responsibility for funding this bullshit product. For the longest time b4 this project ever completed funding there were warning signs all over in relation to the software and hardware, yet ignorant ppl disregarded these warnings and backed it anyway. Then when they realize just how pathetic the OUYA is they complain. When issues come up w Julie ppl don't realize that she doesn't give a shit about any of you and the only thing that she does care for is the $$ in your wallet.

You want to really make a statement against OUYA? Then get everyone you know to boycott the product and limit the incoming funding for the company. You want Julie to take notice of how enraged she has made the gaming world w her steaming pile of bullshit? Cut the funding. No money, no OUYA. Simple

    28. Creator María Silvia Peirano on December 10, 2013

Hey everyone, I got my Ouya right on time with right ammount of controllers and everything. It even had the piece of paper that reads: "thank you for believing" although it should say "thank you for believing in our bullshit" remember this? :…
It's a link to a picture oif what Ouya used to promise before they changed their motto to free to try. Their Motto changed right after I completed my purchase and it that time I just wanted to cut them down. Stop caliming for your Ouyas, claim for your money! and you'll have a quarter of what you need for a proper console. My Ouya arrived with a dent in it, the material that the console is maid of is very very poor. As well as the material for the controllers. The buttons in it are very stiff too and not ergonomic at all. The game library? Oh my god, it's like having an android phone that is cube.shaped and with a controller. It's the same apps as the fucking play store, there's nothing new about it. a few games are exclusive and all games are free to TRY not free to PLAY as they claimed before. In spit of that, EVERY SINGLE GAME IS A PAY2WIN, every single one of them, they are single player pay 2 win. Un-fucking beleivable, this console is a hoax, I solemnly regret buying this piece of Hardware (haha) and i wish I had saved that money is somthing more competent than this. Utterly dissapointed guys, don't even bother. Turned it on 2 times. First to try the console, second time to show my parents what big mistake they had done and that I was terribly sorry to ask for this. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME MONEY AND EFFORT BUY A PS4

    29. Creator Squishymaster on December 8, 2013

Never got etched controllers, they were printed on.
Ouya "console" itself didn't have any etching or printing on it like promised.
Still sitting in the box in my closet because I'm too angry to touch it.

    30. Creator Marc on December 7, 2013

7 Month LMFAO! Sold my One already and got a PS4.

    31. Creator Matthew Wagner on December 5, 2013

    32. Creator Miggimoto on November 30, 2013

      Luis Armstrong?

    33. Creator kcjnz on November 20, 2013

@Miggi, @AG - talk to Luis, he seems to have Julies ear...

    34. Creator AG Umbrella on November 19, 2013

I have not received my second paid controller? No answer to email nor tickets .... Where is our controller?

    35. Creator Miggimoto on November 18, 2013

Hei sweet Julie. Many of us are still pissed. ;)

      Take care,

    36. Creator Jarl Wijman on November 17, 2013

      make it right, as if
how many updates did we get after the famous "i am pissed" update?
i sent julie quite a few tweets with questions
      never answered any of them
all they did was blame others (shipping company), but the fact remains she didn't keep her promise: the bakers would get one before launch
instead it was launched, there are STILL backers waiting for their ouya
"to hell with those backers, we got their 8,5 million, now it's time to take more people's money for our broken product"
good luck to those still waiting and even more to people who still believe in this company

    37. Creator Luis P Escobar Jr. on November 13, 2013

What kcjnz? I'm no family member. they just sincerely righted my wrong. That is all no more no less.

    38. Creator kcjnz on November 12, 2013

I love it when family members post!

    39. Creator Luis P Escobar Jr. on November 11, 2013

I have to leave a a comment. I had a lot of issues with Ouya. I was overtly upset at their process and procedures. Then Julie Uhrman made it right personally. I won't get into details, but I believe she stands by her product. There have been some huge hiccups, but I think that ultimately anyone who was a backer and was less than completely satisfied will have their wrongs righted in time.
Thank you Julie and Ouya team. I know I am a little more patient then some. Especially because some put the little money they were able to and had to wait. But I was able to write it off and ignore it. I am pleased to say the OUYA team made everything right. Just have patience folks and you'll be taken care of I am sure of it.

Thanks again OUYA and Julie Uhrman. It is very much appreciated.

      LPE Jr. - Afghanistan.

My Ouya was delivered few months ago it worked for few minutes only, they sent me another one but did not include my phone # so it was sent back to them! I filled another form and still waiting lol

    41. Creator chini on November 9, 2013
