Jesus, what a waste of fucking money.

    3. Creator SC0URG3 on November 10

I mean, on the bright side of all this, at least I can use the controller via bluetooth with my phone, so it has that going for it...which is nice...right?...nah, not even. I tried mapping the buttons for emulators, and it's all messed up. It thinks up on the D-pad is the L2 button, the left analogue stick is also L2, no matter which way you push it, etc. Everything about this has been horrible. Maybe Razer can make something of it, but it'll be too little, too late.

OUYA is the fart of video gaming

    5. Creator Glenn on October 16

I don't understand the hate here. The campaign was successful, I got the console about the same time as it hit stores, had a lot of fun with four controllers and bombsquad, not to mention endless amounts of NES/SNES games in multiplayer.
The console was cheap, small, and did mostly what it promised.
Now, I have sold mine now after these years, but it was well worth the money!

    7. Creator Jarl Wijman on August 7

haven't seen bad reviews for the shield console, so i wouldnt blame android
i blame julie, mostly, with her false promises

"Guarantee we will have one available for you, before it gets to stores"
nope, mine wasn't even shipped yet and it had already hit stores

      "free to play"
then why ask for credit card info right away

      "i'm pissed" she said
      we were more pissed

      "i will make this right"

hope she never works in the sector again

    8. Creator Kona-chan on August 4

I wish I hadn't invested money into this console because it had a bad user interface, a horrible store and there really wasn't any games that were system sellers and the fact that it ran off of android was also a bad thing because that meant that the console was virtually inferior to the ps4, xbox one, and wii u. Ouya could have had a better chance if it was as powerful as its competitors and if it had a user interface that was actually good. Also so much for Minecraft coming to Ouya lol.

    9. Creator Char Aznable on August 3

She got a few million for it, I doubt she gives a crap.

    10. Creator Brent Roberts on July 28

HAHAHHAHA Razer is buying OUYA and Julie is out! LMAO this is hilarious! Not only did OUYA scam out indie developers but now this failed platform is going to be absorbed as essentially killed off! Yup how does it feel Julie to be outed from your own company?!?!? Hahahaha

    11. Creator Char Aznable on July 27

I can appreciate the ambition of this project..but ultimately OUYA was a colossal failure.

    13. Creator Kona-chan on June 20

If their is any shenmue fans here we are getting a new sequel after the 14 year wait and I really want people to help back the project so here is the link

    14. Creator hoofhearted4 on June 15

I pledged $25 for support. So the fact that they failed, while sad, had no impact on me what so ever. I'm sad they failed, obviously I would have loved to see them be successful but they dropped the ball hard on getting backers their stuff. Had they shipped everything out in a timely manner I bet they would have done better and been well received. But they didn't. They messed up hard and now who is OUYA?

    15. Creator Brent Roberts on May 28, 2015

This company is the joke of the gaming industry. I warned ppl ahead of time yet they gave me #%*^ for it and look at it now. When you treat ppl like they owe you something because you have your head so far up your fat @$$ then you have a superiority complex that needs serious treatment. OUYA is dead. Finally.

    16. Creator charles on May 3, 2015

God did this thing ever turn out to be a failure. You guys dropped the ball every single time it was handed off to you. I can't remember ever dealing with a business that was just so incompetent on every level. Usually companies like that go out of business in just a few years

Oh wait. That's exactly what's happening. Good. You guys failed. Good riddance.

Dunno if it's your guys thing but the guy who made the Pathfinder ACG (Mike Selinker) has a new kickstarter up:

I'm pretty sure my OUYA has bricked it self. I've left it alone for a few months, come back to play broken age, and all I see if the tiny U and darkness. Guess I'm going to have to try those ridiculous procedures to boot into recovery mode.

    20. Creator H1o on March 5, 2015

      I'm so happy:
      doesn't get the device,
mailed them and they said that the special device isn't there and they don't produce new ones,
because of that i get my money back via paypal...

    21. Creator Martin Parizeau on February 27, 2015

What a complete fail!!! I was so disappointed once I got it, but then my smile came back once I GAVE it away

    22. Creator Paul Allen on July 16, 2014

Surprised there are so many unfulfilled claims in the comments. They went to commercial release. There should now be excessive legal choices available to those that have a need of them.

I wasn't happy with the hardware in the end, particularly the controller :( Just didn't work reliably, and the buttons would stick under their gimmicky battery covers.

But it shipped, and it worked enough for me to enjoy Towerfall, so I view it as an idea that was worth investing in. Who knows what else might have been inspired that's to this project actually completing. Maybe it's what finally got Steam boxes to be a thing, or helped another hardware company know what revisions to make to their own developments.

    23. Creator Nikki on July 5, 2014

"After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign..." wtf TechCrunch? lmao

    24. Creator Brent Roberts on June 29, 2014

Lol that's the biggest joke I've read this year about OUYA. They are the joke of the industry given that smartphones are more powerful. If you are an indie company or game designer, then Microsoft and Sony are the way to go.

    25. Creator Dave Woods [Owner of the Daffy Duck] on June 5, 2014

So it's been nearly a year since Julie got pissed... And how many people still have not got what they pledged for?

    26. Creator Sideview on May 23, 2014

me 2 .. i receive the extra controller but i have not received my console + controller. ??

    27. Creator James Shing on April 13, 2014

Sorry, I am one of the backer of OUYA, since now I still haven’t received my OUYA yet. Can u update to me please?

      Thanks a lot.

    28. Creator AG Umbrella on April 6, 2014

We haven't received our additional controller!!! All we keep getting are messages that don't solve our issue. At least we should get the money back. Without us they would not have OUYA!

    29. Creator Dilbert the Animated Series on March 2, 2014

      Report them for sure

    30. Creator Erik Ledyard on February 24, 2014

I got my refund within days of reporting these bastards to the Better Business Bureau. I advise anybody else who is having trouble getting their money back do the same.

    31. Creator Nikki on February 10, 2014

      @Mark Amaro

As per Kickstarter for Projects: "Backers expect to connect with you through Kickstarter so it's best to use our tools for sending updates and messages and asking for information. Avoid asking people to sign up for another service as it can be confusing and leads to errors."

Ouya should be continuing to utilise Kickstarter to deal with their KS backers, that is where people pledged, not their website or anywhere else. Just look to your right, over 8 million dollars pledged. They owe their backers much better than how, disgracefully, they have treated so many. They still have not delivered to all of their pledges. Unsure why anyone would be an ouya-apologist after watching this all unfold.

    32. Creator Nathan Liknes on February 2, 2014

for those who haven't received a refund in my experience it takes spamming there twitter with support numbers for three month then they shall refund you, but not with shipping or any thing else you may have paid for.

    33. Creator Mohammad on January 31, 2014

      @Filipe Cunha

simply harass them until you get refund ... that's what I did and I guess most people also did

I guess they ended up delivering 10% of the lame so-called console

    34. Creator Filipe Cunha on January 29, 2014

Hello, it's been a while since my order shipped (almost 7 months now), but I haven't received it yet. How can I get a refund?

    35. Creator lilbuddhaman on January 22, 2014

i bought this as a streambox and an occasional android-casual game box. Due to the controller being trash and there being no market/google play access, that latter simply doesn't exist. As a streambox (XBMC primarily) it is functional, but extremely slow. I shoulda bought a roku/Pi.

    36. Creator Aureliano Fazio Baiz on January 21, 2014

Lmao, and to think i almost got lynched by OUYA fans not so long ago when i wrote some negative comments here, and now even the fanboys turned against Ouya.

I'm so glad i opted for a refund in time. I walked out of an horrible raw deal.

    37. Creator PegasusOrgans-AGL 589 on January 13, 2014

People, you can ask for a refund. You know that, right? I asked for a refund, and, while it took some time, the team honored the request and refunded my money. I'm sure they're doing well enough to refund all the ppl that have serious issues on here.

In the end, I'm glad I did the refund. Not because the system wouldn't work, but because I honestly have way too many games to play with just Steam sales alone.

    38. Creator Mark Amaro on January 10, 2014

Stop using kickstarter to complain they have their own site now. Wouldn't you leave an unorganized comment system with 63,416 whining babies to make your own organized support site where you can get one on one help?

    39. Creator Paul Mather on January 8, 2014

OUYA appeared in a KickStarter 2013 year in review email I got today:…
It said "OUYA powered up" but they left off "and EPIC FAIL'D"

    40. Creator Brent Roberts on January 6, 2014

Hound that dumb bitch Julie on Twitter and send mass emails to SCREWYA demanding a refund. Send more than 10 tweets and emails a day and do not stop till you get to the bottom of it. If that doesn't work go onto their Facebook and official website and demand your answers there. OUYA and Julie can shit in an OUYA bc they make great portable toilets

    41. Creator Eugene Zheng Yong Sheng on January 5, 2014

Last post from OUYA was june; i guess its the end of the road for the cpy.

    42. Creator Filipe Cunha on January 4, 2014

Hello, it's been a while since my order shipped (almost 7 months now), but I haven't received it yet. What can I do?

    43. Creator RZX on January 3, 2014

It's already getting quiet around Ouya and I hope it will die soon.
Even with all the investment money they couldn't get some hot games.
I'll enjoy my PS3 cfw so long. Have fun!

    44. Creator Brian Hendrickson on December 12, 2013

I traded mine in on Amazon for $40.70. I was shocked they gave me that much for it. What a waste.

    45. Creator Brent Roberts on December 12, 2013

All who are complaining about OUYA and that stupid bitch Julie need to also take some responsibility for funding this bullshit product. For the longest time b4 this project ever completed funding there were warning signs all over in relation to the software and hardware, yet ignorant ppl disregarded these warnings and backed it anyway. Then when they realize just how pathetic the OUYA is they complain. When issues come up w Julie ppl don't realize that she doesn't give a shit about any of you and the only thing that she does care for is the $$ in your wallet.

You want to really make a statement against OUYA? Then get everyone you know to boycott the product and limit the incoming funding for the company. You want Julie to take notice of how enraged she has made the gaming world w her steaming pile of bullshit? Cut the funding. No money, no OUYA. Simple
