      People are getting extra controllers, and faceplates... But can I get my Ouya? Nope, no console for you. Closed tickets, saying the are reshipping.... I could have swam from China by now. Why is it so hard for them to honor their commitments.

      For the people that haven't received it yet, this is basically at the point that would normally be called a scam. Not just because of the long time, but because they are being ignored or just shut out by support. This needs some press coverage otherwise they simply get away with it so to speak.

      I am so fed up with your "support" people. My issue ticket has been closed on me twice now. I still have not received my OUYA and I backed this project. No tracking number, no reassurance. Not even a genuine response. Just a bunch of automated email bullshit. I want a full refund. At this point, I have no desire for this product anymore.

      August 23rd will mark 3 months that my OUYA has been "shipping". It originally shipped on May 23rd. The OUYA people haven't replied to me in 2 weeks. They told me that my unit was "out of stock". How does that happen? I thought the whole point of backing this on Kickstarter was that our units were reserved and we'd get them before everyone else.

      This whole experience has been a big waste of time and money.
      I've been asking for a refund for sometime now because this just doesn't seem worth it anymore. I've never seen anyone treat their backers with such disrespect. If there are too many open tickets, or too few people to answer all the tickets - DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. It doesn't make sense to leave so many (originally) loyal backers in the dark. Meanwhile you just took our money and laughed.

      If I ever see these people with a Kickstarter again, I will strongly discourage people to fund it. This has been the worst KS experience, and I just want it to be over.
      @Pooya: I've definitely been OUYA'd.

      My etched faceplates have the wrong name on them.... I have no idea where "grace" and "damnit" come from, but I didn't enter those names. Who do I contact to get this fixed so I can get the correct name plates?

      Got etched faceplates. Not etched. More like printed. Not sure what is going on but nothing seems to happen right.

      Got my extra controller a couple weeks ago, the 2nd system about a month before that (got a Dev kit in January). Everything promised delivered. I really like the system. The software is getting a lot better, particularly after that last update. Just bought a couple games, Sine Mora is amazing! Super Mega Worm is a lot of fun too. Actually there's lots good to play, the free to play thing is working well.

      As expected for a new company that was more successful then expected out of the gate, there have been a lot of teething problems, but they are working through them and things are getting a lot better. Very happy with the system overall. I hope many of you can overlook the shipping problems and give it a fair chance.

      As of now, the last log in was just yesterday. And still not a peep. They really are jerks.

      Mr. Pendent, that isn't entirely accurate. They have posted here before, it just has been about 9 months since the last post. They have since given up with public communication. They prefer one way public communication and two way communication in private. They seem to believe it is easier to manage their image that way, and that's what's important. Hmm, wonder how that's working for them.

      I have to admit--nearly 30,000 comments on the OUYA page and yet no response from "team OUYA". Am I the only one who is beginning to thing that this entire console is a performance art piece? they managed to squeeze 8.5 millions dollars out of donors, and yet can't be bothered to even post a simple reply saying, "You know--to hell with you people. We got your money, so piss off!!". Obviously this is the way they feel, but it would be nice if they had the balls to actually say it.

      Funny thing, I messed up the Kickstarter form and thus did not get the additional controller I thought I ordered initially. Suddenly I get an unexpected UPS package with 2(!) controllers.

      Just got a response in the support thingy they have. And I have to say, OUYA's support is the worst support I've ever encountered.
      My initial request was filed on Jun 23, telling them that tracking number wasn't working after I received the number 20 days ago.
      On July 11 they gave me useless response-- the other URL to check the tracking number with, and a suggestion to check with my local courier.
      The next day, I responded that I already tried everything they suggested.
      Then there was no response what so ever for over a month.
      So, yesterday I gave a reminder in the support system, tweeted to @juhrman and @playouya, and finally got a response from the support saying:
      "If you could give us your full mailing address/phone number, we can go ahead and work on getting another one to you."
      Umm... this is like the third time I'm requested my address. Once in the survey, and once by someone named Sarah telling me that I haven't responded to the survey.
      I really doubt that they sent out the hardware the first time around because they still have no clue of where to send it!

      Anyone out there waiting for the support to respond, go bug @juhrman and @playouya on twitter telling them to pick up what ever ticket # your's is. Because if you don't, they'll just keep silent hoping that you forget about it and go away.

      Wikzo: It's not the console itself i am dissapointed with, it's the general treatment of the backers.
      They cheaped out on shipping and sent the packages as letters instead of actual packages wich made many of us have to pay for the national postal handling.
      I for example, had to pay €50 / $67 just to cover the extra postal fees, in addition to the $20 shipping fee i payed when i backed the OUYA..

      Reading so many negative comments here, I thought I would like to turn the boat around and say that I am generally pleased with my OUYA. I ordered one OUYA console with two controllers and received everything in one package mid-June.

      Even though the store felt a little empty in the beginning, OUYA is starting to grow into something more. I had some friends over and played a few multiplayer games (Towerfall, Hidden in Plain Sight and Bombsquad), and it was some of the best gaming fun I've had in a long time!

      There is still a long way to go for OUYA, but keep in mind that every console has its starting problems. Just look at Wii U which still lacks a good bunch of games and whatnot. Of course OUYA could have done a lot of things better - but overall, I think it has been a fun and interesting ride. Looking forward to seeing what the future will bring :)

      Finally got my refund! It only took 6 days after I filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Starting to feel better... but I still hope Julie Uhrman will soon DIAF.

      This is by far the worst KS experience I have ever had. I ordered the LE with the Etched option, plus two extra controllers. Guess what they send me? The ordinary version with one controller, then three ordinary controllers poorly packed with NO Etched on it. I am pissed, really pissed. Asked them for a refund and a paid return package so I can send all those junk back to them, and they ignored me.

      I will never backed any console KS ever again! Sorry for any potential console projects out there but this debacle really pissed me off and put me off to any console KS in future.

Thanks Ouya for keeping the bar consistently low throughout this entire project. A complaint will be filed with the proper institutions to hopefully protect other consumers

      I have just recieved replacements for my broken controllers. OUYA never told me they were sent, so I'm not sure what mail or tweet did the trick for me, however, I guess it was regular support ticket, closed by them two weeks ago. They are working on support, now I'm sure of that, It's just they are not communicating with us properly. I never went crazy at them, never trolled their channels, but they listened and solved my problem (I have not tested the new controllers, I asume they work properly. I just felt I had to inform you all that keep waiting for a reply from support, as soon as possible).

      Like the other backers here, I too received my etched nameplates today. I have to say they're absolutely useless! The usernames have been applied with what looks like some white transfer, definitely not etched, and they've been applied at odd angles too.       It is a joke, Today, I received a call from UPS for postal package with my name, after receiving it, it was 2 OUYA's controllers. That is good, now the joke is that, till now, I did not receive the console :-)))

      Is it possible the white is where the paint has been "etched" off? Obviously still a shoddy job and waste of $96. Just curious if they even tried to do a poor job or just gave up entirely.

      My etched name plates arrived today, still dont have my extra pad. BUT the etched name plates are appauling. there not even etched, its printed on in WHITE paint, on the bronze pad, in a really aweful font. it looks so cheap. total waste of money,

      - Hidden in plain sight
      - Final Fantasy III
      - Knightmare Tower

      - Tower Falls is nice but the price is ridiculous ($15) for what you get (don't get me wrong I have no problem with investing $15, but not for a multiplayer only game with no content except a few "levels" which basically are just backgrounds in lovely but very cheap pixel graphics)
      - Bombsquad is worth the price if you like the concept
      - Puddle is quite nice too. I'm going to buy it if I am bored in front of the OUYA (that's actually quite rare because I never use it. XMBC is far awy from being good enough as your only Media Player and for Gaming the OUYA is not ready yet)

      - My favorites are both free:
      - No Valet parking
      - GSNES

      I can understand all the anger floating around. The OUYA is a nice peace of hardware but EVERYTHING else is pure crap. The OS, the team, the supprt, the games, the controller, ... .
      Don't be too eager when waiting for your OUYA. There are three or four games that deserve your money (at max) and the rest ist a complete waste of money (and time).
      The best way to deal with you ouya is to admit that you wasted some cash, put it on craigslist (don't redeem your 1337 code. Sell it with the console) and buy a media player or a used 360 (depending on what you were planing to use the ouya for).

      Got my additional controller today. Already got the console in July.

      Ouya should appoint one or two person to resolve kickstarter backer issues full time.

      And all backers who did not receive their rewards should form a group with a few representatives to deal with ouya's representatives, and to resolve once and for all.

      Maybe the best way to close this matter is to just refund to all those did not receive the console and forget about where the hell did their package delivered to.

      Guys, I just finally after 4 months of delays received my OUYA, here in Portugal/Europe, i guess i will testing something this weekend...

      and why do i hear, they are going down!? no more games, no more support... can we do something with this if this is the case!? or it will become just a paper weight!! i hope not!! and these are just rumors but would nice if anyone official clear the skies...

      Sadly, I stopped reading Penny Arcade Report because of the glowing articles on Ouya. I think the PR team at Ouya managed in convincing some journalists that it's really great.

      These same people who are writing glowing reviews of the Ouya, in my mind, have lost some credibility.
