Hey, everyone. Welcome to Gameplay First, where fun is second to none! My name's Tyler and...I need your help. Look, I'll be straight with you guys. Making this series is fun. Really fun. But if I want to get serious about it (I do) I'm going to need to put some money into it.
There' s just one problem with that...I kinda don't have a whole lot. But! That's where you guys come in! For the meager price of $200, I can get all the stuff I need to make Gameplay First completely awesome!
Not sure about pledging? Take a look at our first episode!
Between getting a better, HD camera, a greenscreen, the shelves for my backdrop and better lights, I need about $200 to make this thing work. Now, if you donate, you'll be in for some cool rewards. I'll also be eternally grateful and will tell you you're awesome to your face. You know, if I ever see you.
Any help you can give me to get this series the funding it needs to have the proper equipment and backdrops would be completely appreciated, so guys, if you can help me out, please do.
For Gameplay First, this is Tyler, sigining off. Now, go on and pledge!
UPDATE: Stretch Goals!!
Well, it's become customary on Kickstarter to set goals beyond your actual goal along with rewards for doing so. With that in mind, here goes:
If we hit $200: I'll post a thank you video on my YouTube channel.
If we hit $250: I'll post a thank you video on YouTube in which I'll say the name of every backer, one by one.
If we hit $300: I'll post a thank you video on YouTube in which I'll play a medley of 3 songs from 3 different video games on guitar AND I'll thank the backers one by one
For every $50 we hit after this, I'll add another song to the medley and if we hit $450, I'll do the whole thing dressed as Mario!
Yeah, but I'm being realistic. For the moment, I can make do with that much.
Well, if you really want to know, the cost analysis breaks down like so:
HD Camera: $70
Green Screen: $20
Target and the Internet. I know exactly what I need, I just need the money.
I have a good amount of gaming and geek paraphernalia that I can put there, but any extra money from the Kickstarter will go toward nik-naks for the background.
Well, then I have a cool plan for filling the empty spaces as I go. I'll give you a hint: Colbert Report.
Yes. Actually, I'd be nice even if you didn't back, as long as you're not a jerk to me or anything. Then all bets are off.
