Maybe more likely just a early preorder date with a disclaimer. If you put too long away no one would pre order, easier to accept money then stack small delay notices. But would be sweet if it did. Although if they don't ship soon they will get stuck in Christmas shipping which will slow it down greatly

Are we there yet? This takes like forever... I know you are doing the very best you can and you probably want the product to be finished even more than I do.
I am just wondering why it is taking so long. The techinique is not new. Headphones are not new. It's not like you have to invent the wheel whole over again.
I pledged over a year ago. That is a very long time to be waiting.

"Waiting is normal as a crowdfunder!" blabla bla - yeah sure, there is traditions that should not exist. Maybe - due to the bill - it will be respectful to give us some news now. You know I don't want a daily news but let it be said that our money does not serve only to travel to the Princess fees or that it has evaporated in nature.. it will take the time it takes but keep in touch. I can't understand these people, who are shouting for refunds. We all should know, that in Kickstarter and crowdfunding projects our given money is invested and "gone". All we can do is to be patient and hope that the creators, whom we trusted in the past and entrusted our money to them, do its best to create an sophisticated and optimized product. And this is an even more difficult way, if they are pioneers with their ideas.
It always takes time (in the most cases much longer than expected) and there is also ever a little chance that we get nothing. If you don't like this concept, save your money and don't participate at crowdfunding projects. Just wait until it becomes a real and ready-made product which you can buy on Amazon etc.

You put your money into a kickstarter, and that what it is product from concept to production, yes it's annoying but you are taking a gamble and I know I would prefer a product which is perfect than going to break. With the extra funding that this project got I very much doubt it will go under and stop asking for refunds you shouldn't invest if you didn't know the risk, this can happen but when it's here it will be worth it. #weallworkhardforourmoneydealwithit

If you look at their website, all of their products are marked down to "final sale". Perhaps they have run out of Capital, hence the delays.

Like any project backed delays can and will happen. I'm sure this product will be delivered eventually but there is always a chance that this project may fold. I risked backing this project knowing that this outcome was extremely likely. It was a risk I was/am willing to take.

To the project creators. I encourage you to be up front and direct with us as your community backer(s). You owe the Kickstarter community at least that much. If you cannot muster the strength to do so, perhaps it's time to have an amicable exit plan strategize and in place... Thanks for a great project. Let's hope in the future it is a successful one. Cheers.

Hi I am the parent of one of your backers, and I think your Batband was a phenomonal idea in the begininning, but it has been almost a year since my son backed you and there is still not a finished product and you keep posting new dates and then more new excuses, so my son needs his money refunded. He works very hard for his money and does not mind backing an item that keeps their promises. I can understand the first delay you made in April, but then it was July, then it was 40 days, now it is almost a year and there is still not product. I am truly sorry the project did not go as you anticipated, but for the backers that want a refund I hope you are a decent enough company to do that for us. For the backers that want to wait, that is great for them. My son really wanted your Batband, he told everyone about them, but now it has been way to long and still you will just give another problem. I do not think you were prepared for all the work this project would take when you made a commitment to the public. Please refund my son's money or I will have to take further action to get his money refunded. People backed you guys in good faith, please refund the money to those that request it back.

Everyone needs to chill! Come on! These guys put some good and excellent effort in focusing on small details in producing Batband. I wouldn't mind waiting longer for the product to be in my hands in excellent quality and shape.

Honestly, the bending problem in the Batband was a good spot for the team and us backers. Glad that was fixed. Really good job guys!!! Thanks!
