Until May 28th, you can pre-order the book here on Kickstarter and get some great rewards, including: adding the name(s) of those you’re grateful for to the Eternal Gratitude credits in the book.
Honor Someone You're Grateful For
Honor those you're grateful for by putting their names in the Encyclopedia of Gratitude. Choose the name(s) you want to appear in the book credits when you pledge $100 (one name), $200 (two names), $300 (three names), or $400 (four names).
With each name, you will also be able to say why you're grateful for that person. It can be something simple, a sentence or two.
This is a limited-time offer. Once it closes, I'll contact you to ask which name(s) should appear in Eternal Gratitude credits of the book.
The Printed Book
I'm aiming for a paper-over-boards hardcover with a color interior on quality paper at a trim size of around 8.5x11. The first edition will contain 365 entries (one for every day of the year).
Web, iPad, and Kindle
In addition to the printed book, there will be three digital versions:
- Free HTML-based web edition of the book (the online edition might not have all the content in the paid versions).
- An edition specifically made for the Kindle.
- An edition specifically made for the iPad (which will include video).
I'll be doing considerable work on crafting the experiences on all these devices. The same care and attention to detail in the physical book will also be brought to these digital editions.
There are now 125 entries (and counting) in the free online edition of the Encyclopedia of Gratitude. New entries are posted daily! The site also allows you to submit your own entries. What are you grateful for?
Where's this money going? Most of it will go into design, production, and image licensing fees (for the many images that will appear in the book). Additional money will go toward marketing and publicity. Once the iPad and Kindle editions are published, revenue from those versions will fund additional design, production, and marketing for the printed book.
