Gebub's Adventure revolves around a small wandering character who came from something peculiar. In the game you collect colorful orbs and unique items during your exploration of the world's many environments. You can use the items at your disposal to help other creatures, who in turn, will help you to uncover more of the mysterious world.
I started working on Gebub's Adventure in November of 2015. I was primarily inspired by three different adventure games: Seiklus, An Untitled Story, and Machinarium. I do not think there are enough of these types of peaceful adventure games, that is why I decided to start working on one of my own.
Four months ago, I released a work-in-progress demo and posted it publicly on my TIGSource Devlog. The game has progressed tremendously from when the demo was released, but here is some of the feedback I received:
"genuinely so so enjoyable to explore" -Swofl
"Wow, loved every second of it!" -aamatniekss
"Such a charming game, full of character and some excellent level design." -Simon Mitchison
"I really enjoyed the demo and look forward to seeing more of the world."-Silkworm_sweatshop
Gebub's Adventure is on Steam Greenlight and you can vote for it here!
The creature Gebub came from an unknown source. Whatever, or whoever this source is, is not as important as what you choose to do as a result of your being. In this world there are many creatures who have fallen into severe predicaments, and they cannot get out of their troubles by themselves. They need someone like you to lend a hand.

Marius Masalar is the composer responsible for the music in the trailer you saw, and I think he will do a fantastic job for the game as well. You can check out his website here!

The reason I have come to Kickstarter is because I cannot afford the cost of music composition by myself. The game deserves a high quality soundtrack, and I need your help to make the game reach its full potential!

On stretch goals:
Currently the game is planned for release on Windows & Mac. Many people have contacted me requesting a Linux port as well, so I'm definitely going to see about making that happen as well.
I have compiled screenshots and promotional art for press to use if they would like to write about the project.
Risks and challenges
I have done my best to minimize any risks that there might be. I always back up my project when I'm done for the day on Dropbox and OneDrive (aka SkyDrive). I have a second computer I can use if this one explodes or malfunctions.
Normally what hinders me most in making a game is not knowing what to work on next for the project... fortunately I have already overcome this problem through a lot of planning which I keep written down in my notebook. These plans have been completed and will guide me all the way to the project's final room. I'm giving my very best effort to finish this game... and I would appreciate your support :)Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
