BioCurious: a Last Hurrah

Posted by Network for Open Scientific Innovation (Creator)

As we enter into the final (18, as of this writing) hours, BioCurious has one last chance to get our message out. Who better to tell the world what the bio community wants than you, our incredible backers? (Easy answer: no one!)

We've had a great run, but we're not done yet.... Let's go out with a bang! How you can help is by tweeting our project, sharing on facebook, and writing to your networks, like our friend Mitch Altman, founder of Noisebridge, did https://www.noisebridge.net/pipermail/noisebridge-discuss/2010-September/016531.html

Huge hat tip to Mitch, who directly inspired me to start a hackerspace. Mitch travels the world inspiring others, and I hope BioCurious can serve as the same type of catalyst for those in the bio world.

Thanks to all of you!

@Ryan - Ping the NullSpace Labs list, they are based out of LA and I believe they were working with a group in SoCal who was interested in creating such a space.

Awesome! I made a Facebook post just before getting this message. :)

Now if I ever find myself up in that area to get to visit the actual hackerspace, once it exists, then I'll be happy. Failing that, maybe I can start a SoCal space some day.

      Congratulations on getting your funding!
