Mark Your Calendars: Summer Events
We're cranking away here at OpenROV HQ. We've made an incredible amount of progress in the past month, and have a number of exciting product milestones/updates/demos that we are almost ready to tell everyone about. Expect a big technical email in April's update.
In the meantime, we wanted to tell you about some summer events we're planning.
First, we're having another open house at OpenROV HQ in Berkeley, CA - July 16th from 1:00-5:00pm. We had such a great time at the last open house that we decided to do it again. It was great to meet many of you, and give you a chance to fly Trident. Should be more of the same in July!
Second, we're planning to (like always) be at Maker Faire in the Bay Area on May 20-22. If you're planning to attend, please make sure to stop the booth and introduce yourself. We'll have a Trident in the pool and look forward to showing you the latest.
Last but not least, we're planning an expedition to return to the wreck of the SS Tahoe in June. We did this a few years ago, and it was a fun test for the OpenROV Kit (you can see the video here). Now we're going back. If you're in the area let us know (email email@example.com with SS TAHOE in the subject). If not, we'll have a number of ways to follow along and interact virtually. To get updates on the expedition, please sign up and follow along on OpenExplorer:
Much more coming soon! Make sure to follow along on Facebook if you'd like to receive a steadier stream of smaller Trident updates and news.
