Good day OpenBCI community,

We’ve got some exciting announcements we want to share with you!

First, we want to remind you that your surveys are due by tomorrow at 12pm EST. If you fill your survey out after that time we can't promise anything regarding the customizable rewards. This mainly applies to t-shirt sizes and the choice of the on-board microcontroller for everyone receiving the OpenBCI Board. We will be placing orders for t-shirts and the initiating OpenBCI manufacturing process in the coming days so all unanswered surveys will result in us deciding for you.

Now the fun stuff! We are super psyched to announce that we will be venturing out to San Francisco to participate in the 2nd Annual NeuroGaming Conference (May 7-8) and the Brainihack Hackathon (May 3-4). We really hope that all of you, especially our SF-based backers, will join in the fun. If you sign up for the conference with the registration code “OpenBCI” you get $100 off of the listed ticket price!

SERIOUSLY AWESOME FACT: the Brainihack hackathon is FREE so register now while there is still space. The hackathon has a bunch of awesome prizes including OpenBCI technology as well as other commercial EEG devices. At the hackathon, you’ll have the opportunity to hack the new OpenBCI tech with Joel and Conor! Don’t miss out on this seriously awesome opportunity!

Lastly, stay tuned for updates on the 3D-printable headset in the coming week. :)

Headed west soon!

The OpenBCI Team
