Only on Tuesdays is a singer-songwriter inspired Pop/Rock band (that's a mouthful, I know) based out of good ol' Los Angeles, California. In the two years since we have become a full band collaborative, we have yet to record an album for you! Well kittens, that is all about to change.
We are raising money to fund our Break Free EP! FINALLY all the folks back home can hear what we have been up to over here in LA. I promise, you won't be disappointed. Our new material is a very eclectic blend. We have everything from "Dance Around in Your Underwear Rock" to "Cute Ukulele Music to Make You Smile". The songs we have been working on are absolutely mint, cream of the crop. Not convinced yet? Read on!
This project is very important to us as a band. We will use this new EP to build our LA audience, put together a small West Coast tour, submit to local and national festivals, and push for college and indie radio play. We have such big plans for Only on Tuesdays, and they are riding on this EP!
This sounds great and all, but there is one teeny weeny problem... WE ARE POOR! Broke musicians in LA. Typical. Fortunately, YOU can help! That is what brings us here to Kickstarter. As you know, Kickstarter is crowd funding. The crowd is you. The funding is for our EP. We need to raise a minimum of $5,000 to cover studio time, recording, mixing, mastering, duplicating CDs, and all the other things that have to happen before we can get our new songs to your ear holes. That price, however, does not include promotion, potential touring expenses, music videos, or the price of getting our Kickstarter incentives out to you. Basically what I am trying to say is that if we hit our $5,000 goal I would be ecstatic, but if we were able to make even just a littleee bit extra I would be a crying blob of happiness. Isn't that what we all want?
In order to motivate you we have included a TON of awesome and unique prizes. You can earn a house show, get your initials tattooed on my finger, even get your face put right on our album. How cool would that be? All you have to do is be a little philanthropic. Maybe hold off on buying that new dress or bow tie for just a little bit longer, and help the less fortunate create something really great.
Thanks kittens. <3
Risks and challenges
As I am sure many of you know, Kickstarter projects can only be funded if the goal is reached. I will admit, we are rather nervous about whether or not we can meet our goal. Unfortunately, if the goal is not met, none of you will receive any of your fabulous prizes. This simply will not do. We are going to do everything in our power to reach this goal for you. If this project gets funded everyone wins! Then again, can you ever really lose when it comes to great music?Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
