An Update!

Hi everyone!

It’s been a while, but we have a few things to report!

Shipping Update

Since our last update, we’ve shipped out an additional 80 packages. This brings our total to 14,884 packages shipped out!

There are still 1,173 backers who have not completed their survey order form. As we’ve mentioned previously, we are not able to ship your package until your survey form is complete!

If you don’t know how to get to your survey, please make a ticket on our helpdesk and we'll provide you with your unique survey URL.

Hologram Cellular Expansion Update

We know, it’s been taking forever, but we have good news! The manufacturing run completed a little while ago but our post-manufacturing Q&A and testing process uncovered a show-stopping issue with the power supply circuit. We’ve identified the required fixes and the boards are now being reworked at the factory. Once they are reworked and fully tested, we will start shipping them out.

To summarize: as long as the rework resolves the issues, we will start shipping the Hologram Cellular Expansion mid-August at the earliest.

We want to thank you for your patience with us once again. We’ve hated having to keep delaying delivery but we’re 100% dedicated to delivering a good product.

Getting In Touch

As you’ve most likely realized, we are pretty slow to respond to comments on KickStarter these days. We’ve been focusing on ironing out technical issues and have had less time to devote to the comments. The best way to get in touch with us about issues that are specific to your order is by creating a ticket on our helpdesk. We recommend checking out our Kickstarter campaign helpdesk FAQ first to see if you find answers there.

A heart-felt thank you to everyone who supported the Omega2 campaign. It’s been a long, tough, and, at times, strange journey, but we’ve learned a whole lot and want to continue providing awesome IoT hardware!

Love,

Team Onion

Do you respond to tickets any faster? Reported a broken download link 2 August, here it is the 9th and the ticket is still "processing"

I have bought my kit in order to use it and communicate over a cellular and this all endeavour is proving a waste of time - I would like to return it as I had enough waiting - it is all still in its boxes.

Ordered mine one year ago and still don't receive it
      Tracking does not show anything
Should have been ship in April but I got nothing
And the goods seems to be back now because they say that it was a delivery address mistake!!!
I have tried to contact sales people but they don't answer anymore
Really bad commercial relation and bad customer care
Non communication seems to be the rule with customers
I hoped that as soon as they get back the food they will deliver a new one but nothing since April!!!!!

Team Onion has done a great job keeping us informed. I'm very happy I decided to back the Omega 2.

@ Hunter Harris - Have you created a ticket on their helpdesk like they have posted? I have had quick response.

Still haven't gotten mine... And the tracking hasn't updated in months. And support is totally non-communicative.
