October Update

Hello Everyone!

It's been a while since our last update, and we hope that all of you are doing well! We apologize for taking so long to post this update. Things have been a bit crazy, but we've made quite a bit of progress. So let's get right into the update!

Status: ON TRACK for November Shipping

We are 5 weeks away from our originally planned shipping date for the Omega2, and the most burning question on your mind is probably: Are we on track? I'm happy to say that YES! we are still on track with our November 27th delivery date. A few of us have been living in Shenzhen, China for the last few weeks overseeing the manufacturing of the Omega2 and planning the logistics of actually shipping them out. So far, things have progressed smoothly, and we look forward to get the Omega2 into your hands in a few short weeks.

FCC/CE: Passed!

The Omega2 has now officially passed the FCC and CE certification. If you are interested in looking up the certification, they are as follows:

  • FCC Identifier: 2AJVP-OMEGA2
  • CE Certificate Number: UNI2016091902RC-01

This is the FCC ID certificate:

And this is the CE Certificate of Compliance:

PayPal is Available for Survey

We have also added PayPal as a payment method on the survey. The only difference between paying with PayPal and paying using credit card (which is processed by Stripe, not us directly) is that PayPal payments will be processed and charged right away, so you will not be able to make any changes to your orders after the payment has been processed.

If you still haven't received your survey link...

For those of you who still haven't received your survey link, we have created a Google form for you to fill out so you can tell us your backer number and the email address associated with your Kickstarter account. Once we get that information, we will send you your survey link via Kickstarter message.

The form is available here: https://goo.gl/forms/co9Gxu5JoE6oJhCx2

That's it for now! Please let us know if you have other questions!

Cheers!

Boken and the Onion Team.

Stop spamming "news"! You have no support! Sent parcel broken module and remain silent. Problem is not solved!

Elizabeth Simon (and anyone else who needs to know) if you log in to Kickstarter and, on this campaign, click the "View My Pledge" button your Backer Number is included in the information that is displayed.

I tried to fill out the google form but it wants a backer number. I have no idea what that is. I checked all the KickStarter emails I got that said I was a backer but didn't see a backer number anywhere. If Onion sent any emails they got sent directly to my junk mail and have been automatically deleted...
I tried filling out "don't know" in the backer number on the google form which allowed me to submit but haven't received a reply yet (I just checked junk mail also) after several days

Just tried to fill out the google form but there seems to be something wrong with it. Can't submit.

Thanks for the update! A quick question, though... I added an extra $9 on my Omega2 Plus pledge, planning to add on another Plus... After looking at the survey, though, it seems we can only add on the basic model. Is that correct?

Thanks Onion for the update. Just a curiosity questions, since Onion is bases in Markham, ON, Canada, why is the project location listed as Boston? Would have been nice for us fellow Canadians to pay in CAD.

Thank you for the update. It is good to hear of the progress. I hope you have a good manufacturer picked out and that they can produce a quality product in the time frame you suggest. good luck.

Wow! That's serious commitment (and the only way to go to insure Quality Assurance). I'm very impressed by Team Onion! :-)
