About Map Maker physical edition:
The Map Maker PNP version had succeeded as a KS project. The digital files had delivered to all backers. As much as I know, they did love the game.

The full color version of the game was fascinating. But as a none token PNP game, the game sheets are used to record gaming progress which means you have to throw it away after playing. That's a waste.
So, I redesigned the layout and make the game sheets permanent by recording onto other paper.
Since the game sheets become permanent parts, we don't have to print out hundreds of them. Then we get the chance to use industrial printer to produce high quality pages which home printer could not comparable, and meanwhile we can control the weight of the product (less game pieces) which keeping lower global delivery cost.
Therefore, we launched this campaign - the first game of envelope series.
About Map Maker:
In the fantasy world of sword and sorcery, a map would be the most important thing for an adventure or a dungeon delving which could show you the direction and the danger.
At this game, you become a map maker to explore and find out the depth and the boss of each dungeon. Then, write the information down to complete the map.
The game is divided into two phases, dungeon delving and boss fighting. At the dungeon delving phase, you roll the dice and choose the encounter according to your hero's stats for each level you descended, then resolve it. Continue the progress until you meet the boss. At the boss fighting phase, you fight the boss following the instruction in boss sheet. Each boss has unique features, skills and actions that you have to use different strategy to fight.

Object of the game:
Delve into the dungeon deeper and deeper until you fighting with a boss. You win the game by defeating the boss. After that, you write the depth, the name of the boss and map maker(your hero) on one site at the wild map as your choice.
After completing all 6 sites on the wild map, you finish the map making and the mission is accomplished.
1. Name your hero
Give a name to your hero on the Hero Sheet which will be wrote to the Wild Map if you win the game.
2. Record the course
Mark the level you delved in.
3. Roll the basic dice
Roll the dice and put then onto the encounters as their basic dice.
4. Choose and resolve the encounter
Use different attributes to resolve different encounters.
To do this, you roll 1D6 as a combat die for your hero, add the result to relevant attribute. If you have already unlocked the skills and decide to use it, conduct the skill according to the skill description and modify your score. The result will be your final score.
Then, you or any other player(could be start player) roll 1D6 as a combat die for the encounter and add the result to its Basic Die. That will be the score of the encounter.
Compare these two scores, if yours is equal to or higher than encounter's, you win the combat. You get 1 experience for this attribute(add 1 attribute).
5. Boss fighting
If you proceed to the end of dungeon, or get basic dice rolling result higher than Boss Encounter Score while dungeon delving, you immediately encounter the Boss.
There are 6 bosses have been designed for this game, and each one is unique. That means you have to fight each boss by different ways. Follow the instruction of each Boss sheet to implement boss fighting until death or wining.

About One Page Gaming:
We love the Role Playing Games. We love the board games. We love the tabletop games.
However, nowadays, the games are become bigger and bigger. The larger box to store, the bigger place to play, the longer time to game, the thicker book to hold, also more miniatures, more tiles, more cords, more tokens, of cause more and more money.
We are not saying the big game is not good. Actually it is fun. But sometimes we do not have a whole afternoon or evening for a large and long time game. We also tired to spent 20 minutes to set up before gaming and another 20 minutes to clear it up after playing. Or we just can't find such a big table. :)
Sometimes we really just want to grab a piece of pager and a pencil, perhaps with the addition of several dice to play for a 20 or 30 minutes. If you get such mood frequently, then One Page Gaming is for you!
The aim of One Page Gaming is to develop Print and Play game of one or two A4 page size and publish via internet. The gamer need nothing more to play with printed pieces and prepared writing tools and dice. Take them anywhere and play the game whenever you want for less or more than 30 minutes. Without setting up and clearing and have fun at anytime.
About the Envelope Series:
The major conceptions of this series are:
1. The game is consisted of several pages which be packed in an envelope that easily to carry.
2. The game sheets are designed to be permanent by the way of recording game progress on other paper. So you can use the game sheets over and over.
3. To reduce the game pieces extremely, the envelope may be designed as a game part. In this game, the wild map and the map detail will be printed on the front and back of the envelope.
4. As well controlled product weight, the global air mail system will be used for delivery to keep lower shipping cost.
All in all, easy to carry, easy to play, easy to store, easy to the price. That's the Envelope Series.
Risks and challenges
The first shot of Map Maker already succeeded as a KS project. The digital version of the game was delivered to all backers.
No risks for PNP version of this campaign.
For physical version, the research of printing process and manufacturer was done. Also the global air mailing information was inquired.
