My name is Angelo Garro. I was born in Siracusa, a city on the coast of Sicily, Italy, where I was raised to have a deep love for art, cooking and culture.
I left Sicily at the age of 18, to study and practice metalsmithing which took me to Zurich, the Swiss Alps, Toronto and Mexico. in 1983, I moved to San Francisco and opened my Renaissance Forge, bringing with me my respect and passion for food, and its integral place in community.
