Final Week - Feeling the Love

Hard to believe we are in the final week already, and 3/4 of the way through our Kickstarter timetable of 30 days.  We are really excited about the enthusiasm all the supporters have for this project, and the outpouring of interest from the robotics community.

We want to thank Willow Garage (www.willowgarage.com) for all of their help getting the word out about Oddwerx supporting ROS with their recent blog post and the posting on Planet ROS (planet.ros.org).  The pledge list is filled with Willow people, and we are absolutely stoked about that.  They were instrumental in getting Evan over at  IEEE's blog interested in writing about the awesomeness of Oddwerx too.  (http://spectrum.ieee.org/automaton/robotics/diy/oddwerx-robots-run-ros-on-your-smartphone) - Big Kudos to Willow Garage!  You rock!

OLogic spent this last weekend at the MEGA Startup Weekend (mega.startupweekend.org) as mentors in the Robotics track, and of course we took the opportunity to show the Oddwerx robots to everyone we met.  We definitely want to thank Robot Launch Pad (www.robotlaunch.com) for organizing the robot portion of the event, and inviting us to participate.  Oddwerx got lots of great press exposure, which we posted all over the OLogic twitter feed, and Robot Launch Pad retweeted all of it...which was really cool!  If you are on Twitter and haven't subscribed to us, point yourself OLogic's twitter handle:  @ologicinc

One of the constant pieces of feedback we received at the Mega Startup Weekend event, from people who saw the Oddwerx robots was, "Wow!  I had seen the Kickstarter, but it is sooo much cooler in-person"

This coming weekend is RoboGames (www.robogames.net)  in San Mateo, CA.  We will be there, and so will the Oddwerx!  So, if you haven't seen them live, and want to, it is the perfect reason to show up.  OLogic will be helping out with the Firefighting and Micromouse Maze events, and the we will doing on-demand Oddwerx demo's all weekend long, so don't hesitate to find us and see them live!

Thanks again for all your suggestions on good ways to show off Oddwerx.  We are working on a couple of cool videos, to get up before the weekend, so we can maximize the last 7 days of our Kickstarter.  If you have friends who are on the fence about pledging, now is the time to get the word out, so we can reach our goal by the deadline next week.   I know we still have a-long-way to reach our Kickstarter goal, but we will keep up the hard push until the very last minute.
