I wrote, drew and released close to forty pages of "Release Barabbas!" in the summer of 2018, after my first year of teaching.
Now, after pausing on something of a cliffhanger, the comic is finally finished. But the plan for "Release Barabbas!" was always to print it. There's just something about holding a book in your hands, you know?
I'm hoping I can generate enough to print 50 copies of "Release Barabbas!" in time for the Island Entertainment Expo, where the unrevealed ending of the comic will be available for the first time. Stretch goals would include increasing the limited run to 100 books or more!
I'm so pleased with the comic. I had a ton of fun making it, and I hope that you'll have fun reading it.
Risks and challenges
The budget here should be pretty comfortable - if we hit the stretch goal of $1500, I could print 100 copies of the book rather than 50, which would be awesome. There might be challenges with getting the mugs out in a timely fashion, I suppose. But on the whole, I'm comfortable with the budget, the timeline and the book here. I think we can make this happen.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
