Children will love learning 4 top coding skills with the whole family, friends and class mates! Trade screen time for family time with the multi-player Which Way? coding board game. Who can help Messy Monster (from CBeebies TV show, Messy Goes to OKIDO) to visit all his friends across the map first?
The STEM sector is growing rapidly however the current education systems are not moving quickly enough to meet demand. Curricula are out-dated and many schools may not possess the funding to invest in new technology and specialist teachers.
It is important to expose children to STEM subjects from a young age in order to show them that STEM can lead to a wide variety of career opportunities.
At the same time, children and their parents are growing increasingly more attached to mobile devices and the social networks, endless information streams and addictive games they support.
Enter the Which Way? Game! Our new and exciting board game: It's UNPLUGGED—no screens needed, it's FUN—no words needed, it's STEM—the future skills our children need!
Playing a fun game is a rewarding way to spend quality time together, learning new skills and communicating with one another.
Open the box:
Take everything out and lay it out on the table. Place the magnetic tiles face down and each player takes one in turn. Whoever picks up the pink piece first goes first.
Spin the Mission Wheel:
Spin the wheel to discover your mission. The challenge is to help Messy reach the destinations defined by the mission. This is the first coding skill: Define the problem.
Plan your route:
Using your finger, trace Messy's fastest route across the map to the destinations defined by the mission. This is the second coding skill: Plan the solution.
Build your path:
Construct your path by placing the magnetic tiles onto the grid. Make sure the black road lines up! This is the third coding skill: Code the program.
Test your path:
Switch on the self-driving Okidoodle car and place it at the Start position. Will it drive all the way to your set destinations? If yes, then your mission for this round is complete! If no, then you must go back and fix your path! This is the fourth coding skill: Test the solution.
Record your score:
Keep track of your progress by ticking off the friends Messy has visited on the scoreboard. The first player to reach all destinations is the winner!

The Which Way? coding board game has been designed and developed by OjO, a pioneering toy company who specialise in fun and educational toys and activities, in partnership with OKIDO, the arts and science children's magazine whose mission is to build the next generation of scientists through creativity, discovery and fun.
The Which Way? coding board game features friendly animated characters from the popular children's Cbeebies show Messy goes to OKIDO, aired on the BBC.
The OjO and OKIDO teams are a passionate, hard-working bunch! Our shared vision is to inspire young children today to learn through exploration and discovery. We do this by developing and promoting fun STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) for kids.
Our teams include people from 9 different countries, speaking 8 different languages, aged from 24 to 65. Some of us are parents and even grandparents! Our expertise include everything from 3D design and illustration to computer programming and data science. We are so excited to share with you all of our hard work and creativity, and can't wait to inspire even more children to become life-long learners!
Together we have built and tested countless prototypes, having fun and learning along the way with our chief product testers—kids, parents and teachers. Now we are ready to bring the Which Way? game to YOU, the Kickstarter community!
We would not have been able to launch this game in 8 months without all the dedication of our super team, working hard to make the game as amazing as it can be!
We plan to ship in JULY 2019.
