84%, 4 days left... Making-of: Assorted sketches

Hello again,

The title says it all. 4 days left, and still 16% to go. Moods are tense as we can't help but watch the clock ticking... but we're still here, dancing on the razor's edge, and your continued support never lets us lose hope of reaching our goal.

No specific theme or motif for this update, just an assortment of random pages from my sketchbook, with minimal word interference. A type of behind-the-scenes that often is capable of telling more than big elaborate blocks of words.

One of very early sketchbook pages (above). Tsioque's look wasn't fully developed yet, and I also played around with an idea of an expanded story with more chapters (eventually dumped).

Some designs for the knights in the intro, as well as for the queen. You might have already seen the Nazgul Queen sketch in the Good Queen's own update.

Some sketches for the dungeon. Every once in a while I date the pages. This is not by far any of the first ones.

Some roughs for the intro, as well as concepts for the Imp Commander.

 Doodles for the stairs.

Sketches for the armory, with some minor spoilers.

More sketches for the armory, with bigger spoilers (censored), and more.

There is so much more where this came from. Aside from portioning the pleasure for it to taste better, I also have to save something for the artbook! :) When the campaign succeeds and we'll have artbooks to deliver, there has to be some exclusive content in there, right?

To some it may seem banal and/or obvious, but I'll write this nonetheless:

One of the reasons why Tsioque struggles to reach its goal is because not many know it's even happening. More people need to know about our game!
Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, community forums - if you think Tsioque deserves to be made, use your social voice to spread the word!

 Thank you.

- Alek

If the title+tagline isn't enough, this project from Siberian developers seems to have this "something" - be it the slick art style, intriguing setting or the ambitiousness of the game itself.. I don't know, but it works. Definitely worth checking out!
