The secret story behind Tsioque

Hi there,

After much dispute, we've decided time has come to play one final serious card into the game.

As of this moment, the mystery behind the veil, the secret story behind TSIOQUE is no longer a secret.

This is a clear SPOILER ALERT. For those wanting to discover mysteries themselves, don't listen past the 2 minute mark!!

What do you think?

@Timothy I'd rather not tell anything at all! :) with just the game speaking for itself. it wasn't an easy decision to let people decide themselves on how much they want to know - you can still choose to be surprised, and I'm glad you did. The team is there and the mechanics are battle-tested in the demo.

Watched the first five minutes or so, cut it off before actual discussion of the story started. I want to be surprised. I don't think you need to tell us what's going on to gain our trust. That's more a matter of having a solid team in place and the mechanics taken care of.

I'm not watching it, but I think this was a good idea. As much as some of us dislike it, a lot of market research has gone into the fact that ads for movies and the like are chock full of spoilers; it makes potential customers feel confident in spending their money.
I hope this helps you, and us, surpass the funding goal as the campaign enters the final week.

Hey, that's what Kickstarter is all about - we judge your pitch and we chip in (or not); all I can say is that what you've shown me is the first in a long time that makes me sad I can't mortgage the house to help you out (because I don't have one - yeah, I know...). Either way, this game _needs to happen_!

I stopped the video and kept it a secret. I much prefer to try to discover it myself from the game.

Ha, exactly the same. :) I just could not bring myself to having the underlying story spoiled. The game just seems so genuine, original and lovingly made, I want to experience the whole thing when it's complete.

@D-Boy - Thanks! See you on the party! :)
@TrentJaspar - that's just the right thing to do if you want a pure, unspoiled experience with Tsioque. I've put a spoiler alert there, thanks for bringing this up!

That was a very touching video, Alek. Thank you for sharing it with us. I will do what I can to spread the world about this wonderful game. I am sure that we will all be celebrating on September 5th. Until then, keep the updates coming!

I stopped the video right after you asked the (first?) question at about 2:04. I look forward to finding out the answers and secrets when I play the game!
