Demo update, new event!

Posted by OhNoo Studio (Creator)

Hello again!

As promised, we've updated the demo! The main addition to the first release are subtitles - now, as planned in the final release, each time a line of dialog is spoken, a nice line or two of text will also pop up.* If you don't need this feature, you can always turn it off in the options menu.
Other changes include extra frames added for smoother animation here and there, and some bugs were squished as well.

*may not apply for impspeak. No one knows if the imps actually make any sense or they just spurt out gibberish and only pretend they know how to talk in front of the Wizard.

We have more news - we've launched an new event! With your help, we want to spread the word about TSIOQUE further, in hopes of reaching everyone who want this game to happen but don't know it yet :)

As you can see on the picture below, the event ends on September 5th, the day our campaign ends. It will also be then when 3 lucky new owners of the hardcover Tormentum artbook will be announced.

Other cool stuff on Kickstarter:

Tower 57

I guess one can never have enough pixels. That is certainly the case with this slick 16-bit styled shooter in a sweet 1920's art-deco-inspired dystopian cyberpunk setting. Destructible environments, too!

Spectrum Addict 2015

The bigger pixels, the better, right? Here, they are as big as they can possibly get. A full length documentary feature film taking a detailed look at the ZX Spectrum.

Okay, still a little nauseous but did my little bit for more visibility. So far looks to me like the project will get funded.

I looked at the contest page and I'm now suffering from a social media overload. Will try to get that treated and do one or two of the things.

And subtitles are always a welcome addition. (Or rather a necessary feature in my book, so way to go adding them.)
