This is a technical demo, work in progress :) Most animations, sound effects, key bindings, game mechanics and even the character's 3D model will be greatly improved in the final build. Check out our playable Alpha 003 for Windows. There is a Mac version on itch.io .

We are very proud to have been Greenlit on Steam Greenlight with Ralin - Dwarf Wars beginning of January 2015 within five Days. Thanks to the support of the Community of Who’s Gaming Now we managed to reach our Goal. We are now ready for the next Step: Kickstarter. Let’s rock this.
In February we got the confirmation that Ogardonix Is approved developer for Nintendo Wii U, this is why Ralin - Dwarf Wars will not only be developed for MAC and PC but also for the Wii U Platform. We are working on special Features for this community and checking on the possibilities we have with the Nintendo Package.
Are you tired of all those Hack and Slash RPGs that are no challenge to you? Well, we're here to present to you Ralin-Dwarf Wars, a community driven Hack and slash RPG. High quality graphics with lots of charming details are one of the many things that make our game unique.
Don't you enjoy the warm glow of the burning torches that set the mood in the Dwarven Halls? Explore these underground caves and discover the epic war between Goblins and Dwarfs and smash some skulls while you‘re at it! You‘re a dwarf who sacrifices his life to protect the treasures of his clan, mined with their sweat and blood. The Community driven Story will further improve the athmosphere and richness of the Universe.
Combat with Melee weapons
Hack and Slash the wicked thieves who nastily sneak into the dwarf halls to steal the precious treasures. The dwarves are picking up their hammers and axes in order to protect what's precious to them! No goblin shall remain!
You will be playing a dwarf, the main hero of our game. Below you can see the first 2D Sketches of our brave Dwarf, with beard and hair testing. Those sketches were developed into perfect 3D Models to be integrated into the Dwarven Halls.
The enemies are for the moment the nasty sneaky Goblins who steal the precious treasures, but there are more to come. Below you can see the 3D rendering without texture resulting then in the coloured version with finished texture, giving the Goblins their nasty look.
Our next steps are customizable characters, complete with various hairstyles and beards. A system for body-shapes is also planned. The upcoming beta builds will contain Loot Table with a lot of weapons, armor and crafting materials. Health- , Leveling- , Loot- , Crafting-, Attribute-, Quest- systems are in production for upcoming builds.
Ralin-Dwarf Wars will be distributed on Steam Early Access one month after the Kickstarter Campain ended.

Ogardonix Studios ltd, established in 2014, is a creative game development studio, based in the heart of London. Ogardonix Studios are dedicated to making a positive, lasting impact on the video game industry through quality, immersive games. We empower the Community by creating an interactive world, in which they can dive in and feel comfy. Ogardonix staff are gamers that follow their passion and vocation.
Early history of Ogardonix
In April 2014 a group of friends, linked through their passion for games participated to the Ludum Dare. It is the worlds largest game jam event in the world, that takes place three times a year. After three days of intense work, the beginning of the code for an rpg was written. The Idea of the game, we conceived while Ludum Dare was not interesting enough for a game with a worldwide impact, so we dropped the graphics, but kept the code.
It turned out most of these people doing this Ludum Dare in April 2014 are part of the Ogardonix Team now. With our faible for dwarves, it was obvious, who the main hero of the RPG game would be. Worldwide we searched for the best artists, all experts in their domain, crazy enough to join our adventure.
Why Kickstarter ?
We want to develop games and involve the community as much as possible. From sound effects and models to every shader, we did everything from scratch. By backing this project, our Production Budget will be increased and we can finish developing the game. Unil now the bearded Warchief of Ogardonix payed everything out of his own pocket. He’s believing in his dream to make games.
We are gamers who want to craft unforgettable experiences for our players. Thanks to the support of Who’s Gaming Now, we have been Greenlit within 5 Days, beginning of January 2015. We need your support to finish our game. In the last few months we worked on Ralin - Dwarf Wars full time because we believe in the project. Our aspiration is to earn our living with the things we love and want our community to be as excited as we are when there is an update of our game. We are confident, that with the support and Feedback of our community we will be able to rock and make Ralin - Dwarf Wars happen.
Risks and challenges
Ralin-Dwarf Wars is Ogardonix Studios biggest production so far. Developing a game in a 3D universe is a complex task. We have at least a year of production ahead of us until the game is really finished. Sound designers, 3D Artists, programmers, a lot of people working in the team and all are experts in their domain. We conceived a dedicated Business Plan for Ralin-Dwarf Wars and so far the forecast seems reasonable,
Developing new, untried gameplay can cause delays, it is committed with a lot of unpredictable aspects.
For a rapid workflow we are using the game engine Unity that “smashes the time and cost barriers to creating uniquely beautiful games”. The experienced team members and our production plan is a good base to keep our milestone deadline plan. A delay is not a reasonable solution, we prefer cut on some features and add them then in the next update.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
