      I am having the exact same issues as Ronnie. I also have an iMac and the charge indicator stops and itunes doesnt show the iphone listed. Sometimes, unplugging and replugging in will will cause it to go into convulsions (for lack of a better word) where it keeps buzzing as it repeatedly connects and disconnect every second. What do I do?

      After posting my earlier comment I received a nice message from the folks at OCDesk stating that they would send me a replacement, which they did in a timely manner.

      Unfortunately, the replacement does not work AT ALL. Right out of the box I plugged it into a USB port on the back of iMac (not a hub) and inserted my iPhone 5S. Please note that my phone does not have a case or anything that would impede a normal connection to the phone. Also please note that I have another dock that I purchased for $5 on eBay that works perfectly, every time. My point is that this isn't an issue with the phone or the way that I'm using it.

      Folks, I am baffled. This is the THIRD dock that doesn't work and this one is the worst. A total fail right out of the box. Don't you test these before they go out? I've tried inserting/removing/re-inserting multiple times with no success. It's completely dead.

      As I noted before in my comments I am enamored with the design of this device but after three attempts I'm done. I will be glad to return the two docks that I still have for your review and (hopefully) evaluation and improvement but am compelled to insist on a refund. Please tell me how to arrange that.

      Regrettable but necessary at this point. I've run out of patience.

      I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the poor quality control and lack of response from OCDesk. After waiting several days for a reply to emails about a connection problem they finally contacted me and wanted to return my dock to them first - at my expense - before sending a new dock to me. I convinced them to send a new dock to me *first* and to include a prepaid label, which, to their credit, they did (although it took a lot longer than it should - this whole process takes five minutes on Amazon and took days here).

      After receiving the new dock (the "Mini") I am now experiencing the same problem as the old one - the phone does not connect upon insertion unless I spend some time jiggling it around. For people that claim to be obsessive compulsive about their desks and products this certainly doesn't reflect their philosophy.

      Really - I have two el-cheapo docks (2 for $10 on eBay) for my iPhone 5S that work perfectly. They connect on the first insertion and do what they're supposed to do. Why would a very expensive version of the same thing work so erratically?

      I admire the concept and the design - that's why I funded this project to begin with - but the QC needs improvement. Please, either provide me with a refund for my purchase or (more preferably) send me one that *works*.

      I'm on my second replacement and my phone still does the charging for a few seconds then stops. I have just given up on the thing and just use regular apple lightning cable. Idk what the flaw or issue is but it's happened with both units I have tried. Blows

      I'm not having the same problem as Christian Christophoridis -- my dock randomly stops charging at some point after I drop the phone into it (it does say it's charging at first). This results in my phone often being nearly dead when I need it. What's going on? Currently using an iPhone 5s.

      Your dock is faulty and we will replace it. It's good that you posted our message, we tried to explain what may be causing the technical issue. Please read it again.

      Please remain patient while we replace your dock and please retain from spreading the misinformation.

      The reason you get the same message on all iPhone 5-s is because you're using the same one faulty dock to test them.

      Hi Javier,

      We deleted the post because it's simply untrue and it hurts our image if you post something that is not factually correct. We've tested the docks and they work perfectly with iOS7, the problem you have has nothing to do with iOS7, it is specifically your dock's fault and must be a faulty cable. Also, we had over 1500 backers on Kickstarter, if iOS7 didn't support our dock you would see over a thousand angry people commenting everywhere, but that is not the case, everybody else are happy and the docks work fine with the new iOS7 and iPhone 5S.

      We've been discussing the issue with our team for the last days and our best estimate is that your cable connections have become loose due to a faulty ultra-sonic welding, which causes a drop in cable resistance, which makes the iOS7 register it as an uncertified.

      We will send you a new dock to fix this problem, please don't panic.

      Has a solution been found for the OCDock randomly not charging when plugged into a Thunderbolt Display? I'm still having issues where the iPhone will be docked and charging for a few minutes, then all the USB ports die on my display. Only happens when the OCDock is connected.

      Javier, that can't have been caused by iOS7, we've thoroughly tested our docks both with the most recent iOS7.0.1 software and the new iPhone 5S and C – both work perfectly. However, if the dock is still not working properly (we'd recommend restarting after updating OS) there's a possibility you might have a faulty cable, also I'll send you a personal message right away.

      My dock now works intermittently. Sometimes when I connect my iphone to it, nothing happens. I have to unplug usb cable from my imac, and plug it back in again to get my imac to recognize the iphone. My standard iphone 5 cables do not have this problem.

      Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately the dock has not been shipped, I'm afraid you along with 4 other names were the only ones we could not ship out the replacement dock immediately because we've ran out of stock. We're currently in the process of producing the next batch of OCDocks and it will be at least a few weeks until we get our second batch in stock. However we will definitely replace your dock as promised! I have made a special note of you and i'll ship it out as soon as they reach me.

      Just a quick update, the last remaining Kickstarter docks were sent out on the 24th of July, along with replacement docks to those who received a faulty one or who had to receive a new one for whatever reason. We're still dealing with about a dozen people who's docks got lost in shipping transit or who have just recently contacted us a about issues.
      Mr Paik is correct about the logistics issue, we've had a lot of problems with our international shipping company. For example at one point their employee decided to end his day early and leave his coworker to finish his job, unfortunately said person apparently forgot to mention to his friend that we have different products so they sent out the wrong products to some international backers. How stuff like this can happen in a big and professional company is beyond me. I'm glad to say we managed to persuade them to take at least some responsibility for this, but we still had to take the financial loss of the correct docks (and more importantly our backer's valuable time) with no way to receive back the incorrect ones. Unexpected issues like these have been plentiful in the recent months, unfortunately every time there's a moment to make a new update we've been busy extinguishing already the next fire.

      At this point all emails and messages have been replied to, as well as all the ones visible below. If you have not received a message please let us know. As said, all docks have been sent out, and we're quickly taking care of the last remaining open issues.

      Thank you all who have come back to comments to let everybody know they've received their dock, it warms up our day significantly to read all the good messages we've got from happy Kickstarter backers! Thank you again!

      I just wanted to put out some good vibes to OCDesk team. They replaced mine free of charge after my 3 year old accidentally broke mine. I had only asked if I could buy a replacement cable and they sent me a whole new dock free of charge, no questions asked. I received it within 2 weeks and it works just as perfectly as the first one did! Thanks guys.

      For those still waiting, these guys are definitely not out to cheat anyone. I'm guessing it's just logistics problems, especially international backers. I've seen it happen with every KS project. I have faith that you all will get your docks and love them as much as I do!

      After receiving an other OCDesk then ordered I contacted Peedu by email.
      He did respond quickly and correct and promised to send me a new regular OCDesk asap.

      I received it today and I must say I am very happy about it, looks great and it works perfect.

      No updates since 04 Jun 2013. Messages and posts are now woefully unanswered. This KS feels like it is morphing into "the best of good intents, but not-so on delivery" The last long post by OCDesk on 20 Jun explaining the situation with the Chinese vendor is very concerning. The OCDesk team needs to respect us backers post what's going on with the remaining unfulfilled orders and quantities and QC issues which seem to be surfacing w/ the cabling. Cheers.
