No more item durability and crafting skill? Why? Keep the skills in, add an "easy mode" option so people can play without it, and leave it in for the people who want it. Like how New Vegas had a hardcore mode for hydration, food and sleep. Have a hardcore mode that influences durability, and actually learning how to cook and make armour.

Vince Vazquez - i think any good gaming computer is more than powerful enough for art. I think when it comes down to it (and forgive me i know very little about actual hardware) it all comes down to hard drive space, lots of ram, and a good graphics card.
Matthew - I'm using the Wacom cintiq 21 UX that came out 2-3 years ago.
For an instance I thought she watched too much Shengeki no Kyojin recently. Then I read about her job nature, ok.
@LC: Poots! The way it looks in that second picture, with the keyboard under it, I thought it was some super awesome PC monitor. I have a WACOM - it's a crappy, old, little 5 inch Graphire. I really gotta get a new one! But yeah, WACOM's are expensive pieces of kit, that's for sure.

I was one of the critics of the item durability system, but I'm of two minds about its removal: I thought the mechanic as described was pointless and half-hearted, but I would have rather seen Josh Sawyer let his wonkish side loose and develop a really robust system than just remove the mechanic entirely.
Ian McCaig is one of my favorite artists as well. Mostly because I'm a huge Star Wars fan and some of the concept work he did on Phantom Menace was spectacular. In particular there was this one concept of Darth Maul that looks quite unlike what he ended up looking like. One of my favorite pieces of concept art ever really.

Though I really do like how Darth Maul looked in the film (pretty iconic by now actually), I was hoping they'd use this artwork for a different character in Episode 2 or 3, but alas they did not.
Time to look up Ocarina of Time, I've been itching to play some Zelda game for a while now.
Thanks for the update on durability and map travel. The map travel clarification shows some balls and I'm very excited about it. I might not be a Codexian? but I love where this is going. :)
The touchscreen is a Wacom Cintiq. It's a very expensive instrument for professional artists and illustrators, not a regular PC touchscreen. ;)
What PC do you use? I've been looking for a good COMPUTER with a nice, big, responsive touch screen for what seems like forever, but everything and everybody hears "Touchscreen" and immediately tries to move me towards a stupid tablet. Like any real work gets done on those toys. I would LOVE to get something like what you're using there!
For anyone curious about who is behind PaperBlue Studio it is Park Jae-Cheol (박재철 ). I'm not sure if he has anyone else on staff, but there's only so much room in a Bundang officetel.

Cool update, I always enjoy seeing new artworks from Polina. Her creatures and stuff really fit to my vision of PE.
And it's also very cool that Obisidan hired a newcomer to the business. I mean her talent and her work speak for themselves, but it's pretty nice though. :)

Aside: it is great that the PE project is introducing us to so many different members of their team and their different roles; it gives us gamers who have little/no industry exposure a sense of how challenging and complex it is to make a good game.

@Matt, if I'm not mistaken, it's a Cintiq... by the looks of it, probably one of the 22HD variants.
