Update by Brandon Adler, Lead Producer

Hey, everyone. We have two bits of news for you today. One is about Zero Radius Games' Pillars of Eternity card game and the other is about updates for the DVD copies of the game.

Pillars of Eternity Card Game: Lords of the Eastern Reach

A quick note to let everyone know the Pillars of Eternity card game is in its last 24 hours. They've opened up 13 Stretch goals adding 82 more cards, solo rules, a wooden Pigeeple of the Spectral Pig, better cards, bigger dice, and are coming up on adding the Chanter troop type to the game. Plus, they just added a Campaign Book for people to be able to play through a whole series of scenarios that tell a story.

Yeah... they've been busy.

Check it out, and if it looks cool the guys at ZRG would be very appreciative of your backing.

DVD Updates

We have good news for everyone that has a DVD backer copy of the game, but would like the latest 1.06 update. You can now head over to our Backer Portal to download an update to the latest version of the game.

Updates and installation instructions for all three OSes are on the page.

When a new update is released in the future, we will add the new patches in this location.

Hey all, we apologize for the lack of comments up here, but we are still reading your comments! That said, if you have any issues at all with the delivery of your physical disc (haven't received it yet/damaged box) please email us at and we will help you out!

      surely it should be "peegle"

No Steven, I thought you would like to know that it was not everyone who was affected, so you would not embarrass yourself by claiming that it was. So, you are welcome for that.

So.. this complaint obviously doesn't pertain to you and thus you have no reason to comment at all then alcary? Ok.. that's.. interesting.

The fact of the matter is that the general comments section here and the posts and new threads over on their *official* forums are filled with folk who got half-assed, beat up boxes that weren't even packaged properly, and this continued silence on the matter and lack of any real response is kind of a slap in the face as time goes on..

I am perfectly content with the state of my physical copy. It was fine. Plays fine. Looks pretteh. Maybe it's just your delivery guy who can't do his job, and not an issue with Obsidian.

@Stephen "Stoibs" D: They addressed that on the support forums. The physical stuff was handled by Paradox Interactive. Email for help with physical stuff.

@Stoibs: my phy copy of the game was fine.

I thought this update about our 'DVD copies of the game' would finally be you addressing the shoddy broken, banged up state that they shipped in and some sort of recourse/reshipping/refund situation..
Are you.. are you ever going to respond to this at all, like ever?
