How It All Began
Nutshellz first sprouted up when a concept was conceived to design a more improved and innovative groin protector. Athletes in all types of impact sports are experiencing groin related injuries from existing product failures resulting in but not limited to: surgical repair, infertility, and loss of testosterone production. It is also popular opinion that cups in general are not comfortable to wear and often restrict mobility. Nutshellz has solved both major concerns when it comes to groin protectors! Our cup is not only strong enough to stop bullets but it also has a unique design and contour that allows it to rest comfortably in position without restricting an athlete's mobility no matter what the movement or sport.
Protecting a Younger Generation
Nutshellz is raising funds in order to successfully complete the development of our youth model groin protector. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of new tooling and materials necessary for the manufacturing of this product.
Proven Track Record
Nutshellz has already successfully created, and is currently manufacturing and selling, an adult version of this product. We will employ the same material sciences and manufacturing technology used in the existing products in order to bring the new youth model to the marketplace.
Make a Pledge
Reward #1 - Pledge $5 and receive a Nutshellz bumper sticker.
Reward #2 - Pledge $15 and receive a Nutshellz t-shirt.
Reward #3 - Pledge $30 and donate a Nutshellz protector to a youth who can't afford one. We will also send you a picture of the young athlete you've helped.
Reward #4 - Pledge $35 and you will receive one of the first Nutshellz youth model cups.
Reward #4 "The Total Package" - Pledge $45 and receive one of the first Nutshellz youth model groin protectors along with a Nutshellz t-shirt and bumper sticker.
Reward #5 "The Double Play" - Pledge $70 and receive 2 Nutshellz youth model groin protectors along with a Nutshellz bumper sticker.
Reward #6 "The Hat Trick" - Pledge $100 and receive 3 Nutshellz youth model groin protectors along with a Nutshellz t-shirt and bumper sticker.
Reward #7 - Pledge $225 and donate youth model Nutshellz protectors to a team up to 10 young athletes who need them but can't afford their own. We will send you a picture of the entire team you have helped.
Reward #8 - Pledge $250 dollars and you will receive 10 youth model Nutshellz protectors. That’s a huge savings for the whole team!

Risks and challenges
Potential risks foreseen could include delays in production resulting from delays in the creation and shipment of new manufacturing equipment needed to produce the product. These delays would not be entirely in our control so in efforts to avoid such an occurrence we will price the equipment through several outside companies with the same capabilities. Having other options available for purchasing equipment through will prevent us from being at the mercy of a single supplier.
