Hi Guys,

Check out our 3D printed prototypes of the 5 card and 6 card UNOs.

The standard 4 Card UNO measures just 6.15mm at it's base (I'd forgotten just how slim it was!), the new 5 Card UNO prototype measures 7.55mm and the 6 Card UNO prototype 8.60mm.

As I've previously mentioned, many people are also asking for a lower cost RFID shielding product.  While our CNC machined aluminum Persona model stylishly shields and protects Smart Cards from RFID skimming, it is significantly more expensive than our injection moulded UNO range.  We are now testing and evaluating a new injection moulding material that contains nickel powder and is therefore, theoretically RFID shielding.  If our tests are successful, we will also be offering the UNO range in this RFID shielding material at a much lower price than our Persona models.

After reviewing our 5 and 6 card prototypes we've concluded that they still fit neatly into any pocket without adding excessive bulk and provide that extra bit of flexibility for those folk that wish to carry a few more cards and cash. We've therefore decided to run another Kickstarter campaign to launch our 5 and 6 Card UNO Holders. Stay tuned for more updates about this and our exciting RFID shielding developments.

Best regards,

      Hi Stuart,
Apologies for not responding sooner. We had a public holiday here in Sydney yesterday.

We have been working in the background sourcing this new RF shielding plastic material which we have now secured and run samples of our standard UNO using this material. We have also done a few preliminary tests to verify the RF shielding capability and I'm pleased to advise, they work and work well!

Yes the new RFID shielding models will also come with a lanyard.

      Cheers,
      Kevin

PS I'll be posting an update today with pictures.

      Kevin,
Any word on the campaign for the new wallets? Also will the ones with RFID shield be offered with a neck strap? Thanks.......

      Hi Stuart,
I thought I answered that one but must have got lost somewhere in the internet ether. Yes we are going to run another Kickstarter campaign. I'm just in the process of researching the RFID shielding material before we finalize our campaign and launch on Kickstarter.

      Best regards
      Kevin

      Kevin,

Not sure if you answered this question, if you did I missed it. Are we going to be able to order this from your site or are you going to do another Kickstarter project on them?

      Thanks

Great feedback, thanks Michael. I use multiple card holders too. My main card holder is my Persona which I carry with me all the time. I keep other cards that I use infrequently in dfferent coloured UNOs...makes it easy to find whenever I need a card.

Kevin, I really like the idea of either size.

For me it would be an alternative option to the std 4 card. I travel quite a bit and prefer 3 cards in this. I carry main credit card, frequent flyer card and room key; it just slips in my pocket or in my coat inner pocket; very handy.

However there are the times when you need a little bit of cash, maybe an alternative credit card, like Visa card where Amex not accepted plus a drivers license. For me this is conferences or sometimes at weekends at home and when going out to dinner.

The other think I really like is my bright green one (I have some with the chrome strip) but being bright is easier to locate in briefcase or backpack.Love to see some other bright colours or maybe just a bright strip.

I must say, it has made things pretty simple at these times.

      cheers
