What's printed, what's not, and what's Welsh for "daffodil"?

Posted by NSKN Games (Creator)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

with a list of Stretch Goals as long as ours, it's sometimes easy to get a bit lost. So, let's look at one of the upcoming Stretch Goals in closer detail, and let's learn some Welsh afterwards!

Some of you wnted to know which wooden elements would come screen-printed, and of the ones that will, which ones will be double-sided. So, let's start with single-sided print:

The elements above are:

  • all present and future scenario markers (daffodils, oxygen, water, dynamite and wood),
  • special coffin markers for the Necropolis scenario,
  • weather discs and the No Entry markers.

Secondly, let's take a look at what will be printed on both sides:

Any elements that are supposed to stand, will be double-sided. These include:

  • labourers,
  • surveyors,
  • generals for the Siege of Petersburg scenario,
  • Yeti (not easy convincing that beast!),
  • the deluxe first player engine marker.

Finally, elements that will not be printed:

The elements that will remain with no printing are:

  • the work rate markers (shovel, track and axe),
  • steel bars,
  • resource cubes (ore, coal and stone),
  • white event cubes,
  • small rubble cubes.

And with everything listed, let's learn something new!

As always, if you want to help spread the joy of Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set, you can always use one of our videos! Thank you!

Have a great day!

@MentatYP: Tokens which usually remain horizontal, showing only one side (like the scenario markers) will most probably stay one-side. As for anything that is vertical, we're going for double-sided.

There are few first world board game problems more annoying than wooden tokens with screen printing on only one side. I hope you will consider printing both sides of the one-sided ones.

      Nice, thanks!
(No, I don't ask again, but I'm very tempted to do so, having received a "yes" to a "either - or" question. I'll just wait and see now....)

Thanks for this - it is much appreciated.

Would it be possible to provide a regularly updated list of the Promo Cards, Expansions & Scenarios that are INCLUDED in this campaign? I find it hard to follow what is in each element. Equally useful would be a list of items that are DEFINITELY not included e.g. some of the charity Promo's. This would at least give some of the completionists (like me) something to do (track them down) while we await this fantastic game.

@Angela M.: After the Stretch Goal unlocks, everything will be exactly as depicted. There will be no further Stretch Goals about printing wooden components. As for the second question... in most cases, probably yes.
@Matt Raney: Although the shapes are final for now, we may make small changes to them at the request of the factory. We will definitely be showing art that goes on the tokens when we have this down.

      Thanks for the update.

Do you have any mock up art for the printing that we could look at?

Thanks for the clarification. Though I am still a little confused.
Those items standing tall, that are supposed to get printed on both sides, will still have to be unlocked as stretchgoals for their second side (except generals), right?
So we're yet to see future stretchgoals of second side printing for workers, surveyors, 1st Player marker and (certainly!) the butt of the Yeti, right?
Next question, will the printing of the second sight be the same, or different to it's front side?
