Crystals and monsters is an original tower defense game where you can fusion your towers in a lot of combinations.


I am an indie developer,  living in a hut and dreaming about my own video game company.

Dear players, i would need you to help me finish one of my projects : Crystals and Monsters. 

My objective is to adapt it to Android and PC, and maybe on others platforms.A free "flash lite" version will be release on the web for the promotion. 

 Due to lack of time in my life, this proyect is in “stand by” at the moment  however, I  would love to get myself down to work full time in order to finish it being able,as well, to hire some extra peoples.

Actually, one of the aspect in wich i am not good at all is the promotional aspect. Therefore, this assistance will be used mainly to engage some professionals in order to take car of the promotional aspects of the project

Crystals And Monsters is a new genre of tower defense game with some special new features.like to possibilty to fusion towers and create powerfull combinations.There is more than two hundreds types of possible towers.

Each Crystal is randomly distributed leaving it the chance for a player to  acquire the one needed. Crystals are placed to form a maze for extending the  length each enemy unit travels thereby increasing the attack time of  the Crystals. Both the type and quality of the Crystals selected determine the  damage and use of the structure. 

Crystals And Monsters is a tower defense game built on planning and  chance. The goal of the game is to prevent computer-controlled enemies  from reaching the end of a path. Players start by placing 3 random Crystals  on the map and then choosing one to keep. The Crystals are distributed by  random with the attributes of type and quality. The type of Crystal determines what the Crystal does and the quality represents its strength.  The chosen Crystal has the ability to damage enemy units while the remaining  2 Crystals become rocks. Rocks and Crystals block enemy units, whereby a row of  rocks and Crystals form a wall to redirect the enemy. Enemy units enter in  groups, known as waves, traveling through checkpoints before reaching  the end of the pathway. The checkpoints on the path are alterable by  players to give giving Crystals more time to attack. The bounty from  defeating each wave allows players to purchase Crystal upgrades, unlocking  possibilities for players to obtain higher quality Crystals. Additionally, Crystals already on the map can be combined into special Crystals. These special  Crystals have unique abilities that are used for various waves.  

The concept of Crystals and Monsters is to efficiently use mazes,  Crystals, and planning to win the game. Common mazes, create the longest possible path  for enemy units to travel from start to finish. Upgrading Crystal chances set opportunities of getting higher tier Crystals  easier, but may hinder the ability to get special combinations. The  highest quality Crystals are not a logical choice when lower tier  alternatives are needed to make special Crystals  

Nowe Reginald is the creator of the famous flash tower defense game XENO TACTIC.  with a lot of awards on newgrounds, almost 3.000.000 plays, Daily feature, Weekly user choice. Frontpaged.Xeno tactic, still today a reference in SF tower defense game.

Nowe Reginald has created more than fifty games on his own for the last decade.

The game is at 80%...There is already a flash beta demo playable on the web.

The final version will have 6 levels, more monsters, BGM etc...

Risks and challenges

The most important point is probably the promotional aspect.
There is no secret that making games is a challenging endeavor. I have been doing this over ten years and taken the proper steps to ensure the completion of Crystals and Monsters.
The remaining expenses are related to marketing part. If funding is not completed, I would be able to deal with the promotional part by myself.This is a much cheaper option, which has already been budgeted for, however it will not be as high quality as the professional marketing obviously.
