If there is one person to which Novacut owes an extra lot of thanks, it's this man:
This is Ian 'IZO' Cylkowski, and he did the stunning Novacut brand identity design. He made Novacut into something you can feel.
IZO knocked it out of the park. We fully expect his beautiful work to end up in a design museum one day. The brand work even inspired a series of animations using the awesome Luz software. To fully appreciate the thoughtful design work IZO did for Novacut, I highly recommend you enjoy these two PDFs:
Novacut is about helping storytellers, but ironically we haven't been the best at telling our story. IZO tells our story masterfully.
One of the most helpful things for Novacut has been when artists have taken it upon themselves to explain Novacut to other artists. And today we were humbled by such an explanation that two artists put together in a mad rush before they had to catch a flight to a film festival. Their video is below, and here is the artwork they had handy when making it:
