About this project
The story begins in the United States in the year 2015. The activation of the world's newest and largest particle accelerator known as the "Super Collider" has ripped a hole in the space-time continuum. This phenomenon has come to be known as "The Breach".
The Super Collider is owned and operated by a mega corporation who at first had no idea that The Breach had occurred. Then something came through it.... following the encounter with the uninvited visitor, the corporation locked down the facility housing the Super Collider and tracked down the origin of the visitor. What they found was The Breach ... a rip so small in the fabric of the space-time continuum that it can't be seen with the human eye. A containment unit was built around The Breach to contain anything that might come through it. It wasn't often, but every now and then something did find its way through.
It wasn't long before scientists realized that The Breach wasn't just a one way street. It started with unmanned robots being sent through but, after discovering how to retrieve what you send through, they started sending people. And so Project Valhalla was born.
The mission of Project Valhalla is one of exploration and exploitation. The Breach is viewed as the key to a golden age of scientific advancement. It leads not only to places in our own timeline but to what is believed to be an unlimited number of parallel universes. Many of these places are drastically different from our own, places where magic exists or where life has evolved quite differently and humans don't rule the world.
The most important rule to remember ... If you find yourself in our timeline, return through The Breach immediately. Traveling through time in our own universe is strictly forbidden. NEVER do anything to affect our universe's timeline. The second most important rule to remember ... if you find yourself in a parallel universe currently going through a zombie apocalypse, aim for the head (okay, that's not really the second most important rule, I just really wanted to say it).
The game is explored from an overhead / top-down view. The battle system is still in the progress of being completed and and update will be posted as soon as we have one for everyone.
The game is being created for Microsoft Windows. With enough support, we would be willing to port the game to other platforms.
Please note that the following screenshots may not represent the final product as nothing in the game has been finalized and many aspects of the game are still being worked on.

Our stretch goals are really open to the community. If you guys would like to see different stretch goals just let us know. Our thoughts for starting stretch goals are as follows:
Risks and challenges
The $1,000.00 being raised will be used to pay some necessary licensing fees that have been incurred that we hadn't originally planned for. All other costs of development have already been taken care of.
While there are always obstacles that will pop up, we can assure everyone that we will work through those obstacles and keep you updated the whole way. All of our team's time is being devoted to this project until its completion and we will do our best to ensure a timely release of this game so that everyone can enjoy it! We welcome suggestions and/or feedback from the community and hope that you choose to support us in this venture.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
