Thanks so much @adam Molnar - really appreciate the kind words and review! Sorry about the travel case, the wet suits we sourced are all shapes and sizes, and we tried to pick the right size for the appropriate frame. If you would like to exchange ( happy to do so ) please email info@nortonpoint.com : )

Hey @phillip Mckenna - can you email info@nortonpoint.com so we can get you all squared away. You should have received by now..

    3. Adam Molnar en November 21, 2016

Hi, finally its arrived. :-) The sunglasses is simply superb!
      Thanks so much!
One small hint : the soft travel case a bit small, one more centimeter would help.

Hey, I've emailed you once already on this issue but I got a confirmation email about 3 weeks ago now that you guys had shipped my glasses to Ireland. I've seen nothing yet and there was never any tracking link in the shipping email.

@marc Soto - the temples can be adjusted to your preferences. You'll place your thumb near the middle of the temple and can flex the temple tip inwards or outwards for the best fit. Email info@nortonpoint.com if you need anything further : )

Hi @alec - Bummer. We've received dozens of warm accolades so far on the frames and collection overall. Perhaps these just aren't for you. If you'd like - please email info@nortonpoint.com and we would be happy to amend the situation.

      Have a fantastic Saturday!

Got my glasses yesterday and am a little disappointed with the quality. The frames do not fit as they keep sliding off. The plastic frame is not smooth, the edge between the black frame and the curved plastic with the metal does not fit well. This is more like a $5 glasses than $100 glasses.

The hard case is poor. Does dot stay close, the magnets are too weak to keep it closed.

I loved the idea of using recycled plastic to make these but the quality is poor.

This may sound crazy, but has anyone else felt nauseous/dizzy while wearing them? Just tried them out today and started feeling dizzy only a few minutes after putting them on.
That being said, I was very happy to receive the glasses; nice workmanship, quality hinges, a bit large but I have a small head size. You did a great job, guys!

Just got mine and the quality is fantastic! The frame is a tad smaller than I was expecting but it fits nicely the design on the frame itself is really nicely done. The hinges and everything are smooth and solid in feel. Definitely feels and looks like a high end pair of glasses. Thanks!

    26. Norton Point Creador en September 7, 2016

@ryan Can you let us know what email you sent your questions to? In regards to the delay in delivery there were several mistakes made by our factory that we had not anticipated. Ultimately, we felt these mistakes could effect the quality of the final product, so we made several adjustments. We have certainly expressed our dissatisfaction to our factory and worked to speed up the corrections. However, we do understand that you had planned on receiving your frames sooner. We do apologize for that. From the beginning our commitment to this community has been to deliver a quality product that helps the oceans and while that has delayed delivery we know you'll love your frames in the end. Please feel free to contact us at info@nortonpoint.com with any questions or concerns.

Is the guy making a boat out of recycled ocean plastic to row across the pacific, then has to manufacture a ocean plastic bike to ride to florida, to deliver me something I put money into in june. ( PENN did this to us before took 5 months to get parts for a reel from factory). Step it up fellas.

P.S. It is courteous to reply to people when they email you with questions. I am still waiting on one from you.....

Agree with Bryan below about seeing the white frames on somebody.

Also are all the sunglasses considered unisex? Or is the Tide considered for women, as most photos have a female model with that frame. Am leaning towards the Tide as I have a pair of sunglasses like the Swell, but if they're more of a female design.

      Hi guys,

Thanks for the reply. My curiousness comes from the fact that I am doing a project for my university, which is based on the production possibilities with recycled ocean plastics. Are you guys in any way limited in using the ocean waste, due to it being degraded extensively by the sunlight and the salt water? You are saying that the HDPE plastics have a rigid nature, does this make it harder to manufacture with these? And are these HDPE's injection moulded or worked with a different production process? I have done research into other projects and found out that it is hard to work with the HDPE's, therefore I am wondering if you guys are experiencing the same. Again, I think that you are doing a fantastic job! We should all try to Sea Plastic Differently! ;)

    44. Norton Point Creador en June 20, 2016

Hey @jphuff we will likely offer the cases for sale on our website when we are fully done with the kickstarter deliveries etc.

    45. Norton Point Creador en June 20, 2016

Hi @eugene Wong - I would strongly suggest the TIDE frame as we have had a few of our friends with your features try them on with perfect fit. The spring hinges also add a very good level of fit and comfort.

    46. No name en June 20, 2016

Would the bridge be too wide or not protrude enough to fit asian faces? As that is a worry I have as the glasses will drop not effectively covering the eyes

    47. Norton Point Creador en June 20, 2016

@J.F.D. Thanks for the question. The tips are made of cellulose acetate but , the rest of the frame is made from ocean plastic. We chose to do this for fit and feel because of the rigid nature of HDPE. However, with our commitment to innovation we are working everyday to make more and more of the product out of ocean plastic.

      Hi Guys,

What a cool initiative! I am wondering though, to what extent are the frames really sustainable... I read that they are made from cellulose acetate, which is bio-degradable. However, this is not a product made from the actual plastic waste coming from our oceans, right? I would love to hear from you if I have misunderstood this. Kind regards!

    49. jphuff en June 16, 2016

I would like to see the ability to buy just the cases. I would totally get 2 of the soft cases for my existing sunglasses.
