Chipped & Broken Pieces
It's come to our attention that about 5 of the roughly 100 orders that have shipped out have had damaged pieces. We want to make sure that you know to contact us (email@example.com) immediately if you receive any broken pieces and we will replace them ASAP. It turns out that our shipper hasn't been packaging them with sufficient cushioning between the product boxes and the shipping box. Apparently they were just using wadded up construction paper like orders from Amazon.
We've requested that they run our products through a different packaging line for "fragile items" which goes for our books and card decks as well. A hardcover book that's just loose in a box with a little bit of construction paper is probably going to arrive with bent corners, and a set of terrain (no matter how well padded in its product box) is going to get slammed around in its shipping box if it doesn't have something to fill the gaps.
It's incredible to find out just how hard the postal service is on our packages, so we're doing everything in our power to mitigate issues like these. We're on a steady pace right now and large batches of orders are leaving production and going to fulfillment on a weekly basis. Keep an eye out for an email with tracking info. It will be coming from ShipBob who is handling our fulfillment.
