We started No Nay Never in 2010 - and the podcast in 2013 - to provide an independent and open platform for informed Clarets debate. The podcast has been listened to more than 100,000 times. That's amazing.
We launched No Nay Never out of our own pockets, and it's been a labour of love ever since.
You might not always agree with us, but you can never question our passion and commitment to the cause. We love Burnley FC - and we give up hours of our free time every week to talk about our club.
Make a pledge and we'll put your name into the hat to win a copy of Joey Barton's book.
Our funding goals
Huge thanks for helping us hit out 1st goals! We can now ensure the podcast will run as normal until at least the end of the season. And we can put our more ambitious plans into place - such as a live event and another special podcast.
We're working on some new goals so that we can make the podcast even better this year.
If you can spare a few quid, please chuck it our way! And if you're waiting for payday, feel free to ask us to drop you a reminder later in the month. Cheers again!
✔️ £100 - our 2017 season
We'll produce 20 podcasts running to the end of this season.
✔️ £150 - new and improved website
We'll make our website easier to use and more interactive.
✔️ £200 - Sunday podcasts
We'll record the podcast as soon as possible after the game, and get it online the following day - so you won't have to wait until Tuesday.
✔️ £300 - special episode
We'll produce another special episode like our LGBT podcast, exploring a football-related topic in depth. We have some ideas, but let us know what you'd like to find out more about.
✔️ £400 - live podcast
We'll run a live and interactive podcast at the end of the season
✔️ £700 - interview a BFC legend
We've previously interviewed the likes of Clarke Carlisle on the podcast. Help us to reach our next goal and we'll set up an in-depth interview with another club legend for the podcast.
✔️ £1,000 - partner with a local charity
If we can reach our last goal, we'll choose a local charity to partner with as a sponsor for the podcast. We have some ideas, but feel free to suggest a charity for us to work with for the rest of the 2016/17 season.
More than £1,000 - spreading the word
Any money we raise over £1,000 will go towards spreading the word - making more and more people aware of the podcast.
Who are we?
We're the independent Burnley FC podcast. By fans for fans.
You can listen to our latest episode at www.nonaynever.net
We're ambitious and always looking to push boundaries:
- We've broken new ground from day 1
- Our Clarets matchday live blog was the first of its kind
- People told us the podcast wouldn't work - it's been a huge success
- We still see people wearing our t-shirts
- We're massively proud of our We Are These People film
- And our LGBT special episode intelligently tackled a difficult subject
Risks and challenges
We've got 3 years experience of running the No Nay Never podcast - so you can be sure we can deliver.
Nothing can stop us:
- Natalie was ill but still made time to join the panel
- James got stuck in traffic, but pulled aside and broadcast from his car
- Adam takes his laptop on holiday so he can still edit
Of course, there's always the possibility that something could go unexpectedly wrong - but we'll always do everything we can to deliver the podcast you love.
Sunday podcasts are fixture-dependant. When games are moved from the traditional Saturday 3pm kick-off, we'll do our best to work around it to make sure you get the podcast as soon as possible afterwards.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
