*** UPDATE 4/15/11 ***
Dear Friends and Family,
We have reached our goal and we owe it all to you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for making this recording possible. We are heading into the studio June 17th and are very eager for all of you to hear what we've been working so hard on.
Even though we've met our goal, we want to continue to encourage donations. Any money received past the amount estimated to record this album will be applied to making it bigger and better. We'll record more songs for an EP, press vinyl, and print more copies to distribute at our shows.
No Man No Eyes
Hello Friends and Family,
Our band, No Man No Eyes, has been writing and playing music together for the past two years, and we've reached the pinnacle of contemporary rock music. Having reached this pinnacle, it is time for us to record our first full-length album. But seriously, we've created music that we truly believe in and would love to record it! Recording an album is expensive and time intensive and there is no way to do it without your support.
Why do we need your support? The recording process requires that we work in a professional studio, with expensive equipment, a knowledgable engineer/producer and take time away from our jobs. In order to attain a finished, high quality recording, we will also need the songs to be mixed and mastered at additional expense. To do all this we will need $3,000.
If we are able to raise this amount, we intend to record at Southview Arts Recording Studios in Middletown Springs, Vermont, run by our friends Jim Gilmour and Ryan Dubois. Southview offers top-of-the line equipment, with an extensive collection of vintage gear, two seasoned producers/engineers, plus the opportunity to escape the city and focus solely on our creativity in the bucolic mountains of Vermont.
We appreciate you taking the time to consider supporting this project. If I were you, I would support this pinnacle of rock. We know damn well it's going to be worth it!
We love you,
No Man No Eyes: Wes, Peter, Patrick, Willi and Cody
