Screenshots + AMA

Posted by Nine Dots Studio (Creator)

Screenshots, and lots of them.

We just added an album filed with new screenshots of the game, check them out!

There is an AMA (Ask me anything) thread on reddit right now in which we answer any question you might have, so if you're curious, here's the link:

Speaking of which, you don't need an AMA thread to get in contact with us. I have a twitter account and we also have a facebook page that we update frequently.

Playable build coming very soon

We should have a build that is stable enough for widespread distribution, and we found a way to make it playable by up to 500 concurrent users for a month. This is only a temporary solution and we won't be updating the build much, it's just so that you guys know where we are at and what's left to do. We're trying to have it ready ASAP.

The Greenlight Supershow, fan-made trailer

Posted by Nine Dots Studio (Creator)

Yesterday was an amazing day

Yesterday, we got coverage in joystiq, Kotaku and RockPaperShotgun. That was amazing, we made 4000 in 24 hours. We're so happy to have new backers, we get new pledges at a steady pace again. This must not stop! Help us share the word, tell your friends to support us and share on facebook and twitter!

The Greenlight Supershow!

The very awesome Alix of Robot Loves Kitty contacted us a while ago to take part in the Greenlight Supershow, a marathon of coverage for great games currently on Greenlight. For the whole day, there will be footage of games to discover and we'll be part of it. Here's a link that will tell you everything you need to know about it!

Fan-made trailer :-D

Our backers are freaking incredible. Matt Brown went above and beyond and actually made a trailer for us, and we really appreciate it.

Youtube and Twitch

We've spent a lot of time reaching out to websites lately and now we are turning to Twitch and Youtube to get more reach. Who would you like to see play GoD Factory? Tell us! Or better yet, tell them!

The last sprint has started

Posted by Nine Dots Studio (Creator)

So, we've got $48,000 left to gather in the next 9 days. The challenge is colossal, but far from impossible. We're starting our last push and I think it's still definitely possible to pull off, and this is why:

"This game could be one of those big indie games that catch the mainstream attention"

The title says it all

"Nine Dots have clearly put a lot of work into the ship models, packing them with animated detail, and I'm also impressed by the art style and ship designs that resemble practically nothing else on the market."

"Quite how multiplayer space-combat dogfighters vs capital-ship game GoD Factory: Wingmen hasn’t raised the mere $70,000 Kickstarter ask is beyond me."

"Two of the hottest things in gaming right now are MOBAs and the Oculus Rift. When you take those two things and whip in a spicy dash of sci-fi space combat, it's hard not to get a tad excited. To the point of twitching."

There is nothing simple about GoD Factory. I got my first taste of the game at Pax East 2013, and I can truthfully say that the game is as deep as it is beautiful.

Arguably, one of the biggest draws to GoD Factory is the deep customization the game offers. Even with an early build of the game, the options are almost overwhelming.

The game also supports Oculus Rift, and we can’t wait to put our headset on and feel like Captain Kirk whilst totally immersed on the cockpit of our own custom-made ship.

with eight ships all zooming around a 1.5 kilometre-long space barge. all firing off laser weapons with different effects and teaming up to take out key systems, it seems like a hell of a lot of fun.

Just listen to the comments at 12:00 and on :)

So this is what's going on. People everywhere love the game once they get their hands on it. If we can reach out to more people and let them know, then we'll meet our objective, I'm sure. And no later than this morning, we've had an article in RockPaperShotgun and another in Kotaku! These websites are huge, and if we can keep this up, there is no reason why we'd fail. Since 7:30AM, we've got 2000 in a few hours. Help us reach out to more websites and channels on Youtube/Twitch and we'll get through this.

We've also completed the space station yesterday, here's what it looks like!

Ar Blossom mystery ship revealed!

Posted by Nine Dots Studio (Creator)

We got the final mystery ship ready for reveal! Which of the four ships will you get? Or will you just get all four?

2 weeks left!

Only two weeks left already, now we are going into our final sprint to get attention from the media. As backers, you've already helped us a lot, but if you want to do even more, you would be doing us a huge favor if you shared our kickstarter on facebook, twitter, reddit, on any forums you're active on and by contacting websites that cover gaming related news. A lot of projects got most of their funding in the last few days of their campaign, but we won't take anything for granted and we'll keep on pushing. If you help us with this, you increase a lot our chances of succeeding.

Thanks a lot to everyone for your support so far. It means a lot to us. We're not making any promise, but we MIGHT have found a way to let you get your hands on a playable build that would be playable only for a month (due to server constraints and such). We're not making any promise, but we're trying to see if there is a way to make this work.

We listened; there will be a Linux version

Posted by Nine Dots Studio (Creator)

Big update!

We've received a lot of requests for a Linux version of the game. After making some preliminary tests to see if this was possible for us to do, we're pretty glad to say that yes, we can indeed. It took us longer to confirm for that OS than for Mac as we had to check up more tools, but in the end we got positive results!

So here you go, GoD Factory: Wingmen will be available for PC, Mac and Linux. All of them will be able to play with each other in the same matches. Just like for the Mac version announced earlier, there is no stretch goal: we're not holding hostage the version. We want to have as many players enjoying our game as possible.

Thanks again to everyone for your support! If you know of any Linux oriented community that might be interested in this, let them know about our Kickstarter campaign!
