Hey guys! Just a little update about the world of Proper Pie. We had a big day on Friday. We passed our health inspection with flying colors, procured our Certificate of Occupancy, and got our business license! Woohoo! So now we are APPROVED to OPERATE!!!
So here's what's next on the plate: we are making big ingredient orders today and tomorrow and finishing up our punch list at the shop. We will be testing our ovens and practicing our pies this week (and doing some paint touch ups and various other things...) Not 100% sure when our "official" opening date will be, but you will be sure to know!
As far as those who are getting their rewards shipped, once the Proper T-shirts have arrived, we will be shipping out everything! Thanks again so much for helping us make this a reality. I can't wait for you all to come see the pie shop. It's been a crazy, exhausting, and wonderful experience, and we have had help from the most amazing people: YOU!

We think we are very close to getting up and running. Just a few more things to purchase, hook up, and do, and our deli case (that will be filled with lots of delicious things soon!) is in transit. Plus, we need to get our final inspections once all of the key pieces are in place (fingers crossed that it will all go smoothly). We will be sure to let you know when we have figured out our opening day!
