To get add-ons, edit your pledge with the "Manage your pledge" button!
Raise the amount you're pledging by the amount of the add-on’s cost (plus shipping if you're pledging below the 65CHF Duke's House Approval Tier).
As an example: If you're currently pledging to the Servant's Approval Tier (20CHF), and want to add 5 charms (40CHF) to your rewards, you would have 20CHF + 40 CHF + 6CHF = 66CHF. 66CHF would be your new pledge!
At the end of the campaign, we'll reach out to you and ask which add-ons you'd like to use your money for :D

This demo covers the first 11 weeks of the VN (approx. 15% of the full game), and is meant to give you a feel for its gameplay, art style, and writing. Please note that the full release will contain additional scenes for these parts of the story; in addition, some of our assets - like the CGs - are still works in progress and will be polished in the official release.
Royal Alchemist features survival stats-raising elements. Keep the main characters alive through the story by improving their skills and crafting various items. You can also go on missions to advance the country’s development and gain the approval of different political factions!
The main story will cover 60 in-game weeks. Time is your most valuable resource, so be sure to manage it carefully!
The game is designed so that you cannot achieve, unlock, and succeed in everything with just one playthrough. By experimenting with different stats and items, no two playthroughs will take the same path! There is more than one way of surviving the many dangers lurking around every corner!
Royal Alchemist features five political factions! You can gain their approval by successfully completing missions or giving items to their representatives at the right times.
Having their approval will heavily influence your story as the game goes on, so try not to slap them in the face too hard - unless you're collecting bad endings, that is!

Risks and challenges
The most challenging thing for most VN devs is time management; sometimes, events in our personal lives can cause significant delays.
Our team tries to address problems swiftly when they pop up; by hiring multiple writers and assistant artists, we keep everyone supported and our project in near-constant motion.
A challenge more specific to our project is keeping the game age-appropriate. Unlike most VNs, our plot focuses primarily on politics and intrigue - which means our story can get violent. We make sure to have our scripts proofread by multiple people to keep things both effective and accessible, though, so don’t worry!
