Un-Titled: The Un-Named Game!
(What a strange name for a game right?)
Hey Fam! This is Riley Nielson, one of the four Nielson brothers, and this is our new game!
I can tell that you already have some questions, so let me explain:
The goal in Un-Titled is to decipher the correct titles of books, movies, songs. Sounds easy enough, right?
Well, no, that would be wrong.
See, all the titles have been Un-Titled, or replaced with opposites or synonyms (for words without opposites). For example, a book with the title:
War and Peace
Peace and War
Still not following? Let’s do another.
So now just ask yourself, what's the opposite of High?
Hopefully this is starting to make sense. Let’s try something a little bit harder...
The Bad, the Good, and the Beautiful
(This is a western classic!)
Answer: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Alright, I think you're getting it. Let’s do one more!
The Brotherhood of the Stationary Shirts
(This is it a teen drama from 2000's)
Answer: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
And that is the way Un-Titled works! Using opposites and synonyms to figure out the real title!
From here the game carries out in a pretty standard fashion. The group will divide into two sides and each group takes turns going through as many Un-Titles as they can in a minute. If they don't like the Un-Title they can also pass for a new card. The next team then has a go. Continue this back-and-forth until all the cards are gone. The team that answered the most correctly wins!
Now, while we are trying to get this funded, that's not all we want from our customers. We also wish to build our library of cards by accepting suggested Un-Titles from any of our fans! So, if you have suggestions please send them in so we can add them to our collection!
It’s been a pleasure, and I hope you guys enjoy this game! Even if you don’t buy it, just make up your own Un-Titles and have fun! After all, that's the point of games, right?
Risks and challenges
While we are excited to introduce our new game to the world, doing so is easier said than done. We are hoping all things go roughly, but in actuality, it will probably be nothing but smooth sailing... wait, that's the opposite of what we meant. We plan to have all our shipments out in February, which doesn't leave much time for getting orders wrong or having mix-ups with the card creation factory. As such, please be patient with us if we get your order perfect and delivered on time... oops, opposite again.
We truly look forward to providing this game to you and your friends, so please, be patient, and we will do all we can to make sure you get your copy of Un-Titled.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
