Stretch Goals: UNLEASHED!
Because of your help we can unleash the "Stretch Goals", these are new funding targets, implemented once a campaign has hit its initial goal.
Stretch Goals start out "Locked" and become "Unlocked" once the new goal has been hit...if we make the last one the film goes to all $5+ backers!
"The Art of Pasteurized"
- Cover of the Book
"Pasteurized" is my first animated short film and I got the inspiration for it a long time ago. In 1998 my parents took our family Europe. One of the destinations was Paris, and in Paris we went to The Museum of Sciences in "Le Parc de la Villete", one of the largest museums devoted to science in the world. One of the things that interested me most was the exhibit showing the reaction of both water and fire at zero gravity. In that situation, each of them took the form of a perfect sphere. This experiment, in which water became a perfect sphere, gave me the inspiration for my film, "Pasteurized".
“Pasteurized” is 7 minutes, 32 seconds and 19 frames long, and it took me 27 months to complete, from the first storyboard sketch to ejecting the disc of final film from the computer.
In "THE ART OF PASTEURIZED" I have included the development of what I believe was crucial to the look and functionality of "Pasteurized", beginning with early concept art and rough studies of characters and environments, to final backgrounds and final key frames.
Thank you very much for your support and taking the time to consider backing this project. I hope I get the chance to show you "THE ART OF PASTEURIZED" and that you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed working on this film.

Risks and challenges
One of my main concerns and challenges of creating and putting together "The Art of
Pasteurized" was (and is) that the quality of the final copies of the book look great in both quality and print. I want to be sure that the people that help me to put the book out are happy when they receive the book in the mail and most important when they open it.
Something also very important to consider for me as well is that all the backers get their rewards in time. I believe these are very important qualities since you have the trust of people supporting your project.
