I had the same problem with the logo and markers falling off. I have, with some effort and lots of squinting fixed it completely! I'll post instructions somewhere if people are interested.

    2. Creator James on March 10

@Christopher Caswell, would you sell your Big Woody? I'd buy it from you. I broke mine. :( Is it a 50 mm, no date?

    3. Creator Christopher Caswell on March 10

Mines been sitting in its box since I got it. Still looks new and nothings falling apart.

    4. Creator Michael Cameron on February 20

looks like the website is down. nice to know it was all a facade and in reality they are dicks. mahalo!

    5. Creator Bryan Weiss on December 29

      No warranty response...

    6. Creator iamtheceo on December 3

Buyer paid about $20 too much

    7. Creator iamtheceo on December 3

I ended up selling this POS for $20 today

    8. Creator Bryan Weiss on November 25

Broken watch and no response from warranty....

    9. Creator Eldon Guerrero on November 13

Sharouz: that pretty much looks EXACTLY like the BFW. Lol! Hopefully they learn from these cats what not to do after roll out. Mine still works! Knock on wood! ;)

Woodwear - The Mammoth Watch Collection…

This looks the same to me...

    11. Creator Clement on September 29, 2014

to those whose logos or hour legends are dropping off, it is possible to dismantle the watch and then super glue it back.. i used a needle to help me.

you can use a needle to trial and error. it is not the exact red spot but somewhere near it.

i have dismantled the watch to apply glow in the dark paint on the hands, but it wasn't a good idea as it became too thick and blocked the movement of the hands. i even applied acrylic spray and paint on all the wooden surface area on the watch as fungi would grow on the bamboo in my humid climate. so it is perfectly fine for you to dismantle the watch and fix back the fallen pieces IF you can remove the stem.

    12. Creator iamtheceo on August 4, 2014

Kickstarter is trash. Between this POS and the Radiate scam I'm done with the whole crowdfunding thing.

    13. Creator maarten on July 21, 2014

Maybe Kickstarter can mark projects as funded and failed and others as funded and successfull based on an inquiry after delivery of whatever the projects was suposed to deliver.

This comment has been removed by Kickstarter.

    15. Creator Tim on May 5, 2014

I'd advise people not to try and fix flaked off number/logo problems themselves. I wasn't able to remove the final pin to allow removal and then access to watch face. Was quoted £50 to fix it at a watch shop. A real shame!

    16. Creator Michael Cameron on May 5, 2014

My NFNT logo (F letter and infinity symbol/8) fell off and 3 emails, other than the automated response, have gone unanswered. I decided I'd open it up myself and fix it, only to discover that the back casing had split. Loved the watch for the couple of months that it lasted

    17. Creator Didier Auffret on May 1, 2014

Try to contact them on the web site nothing... All the numbers and logo or gone....

    18. Creator iamtheceo on April 27, 2014

This and the Radiate Athletics projects are the two worst I have backed. Awful communication. Horrible product from NFNT. If I wanted to buy a broken watch I could have got one for a lot less than $110. I'd like a new watch that's not defective or a refund. I can't believe I was sent two garbage watches and I had to pay international shipping to send one back.

    19. Creator Arlan Bouwman on April 24, 2014

Same here guys. I loved my watch until the logo fell of, and now the clasp broke as well. I've been mailing and tweeting for months, but no response.

      Too bad, could've ended differently.

    20. Creator maarten on April 23, 2014

Hi Dave, I feel you. Tried to contact them here, on Facebook and through there warranty (how ironic) email for months now without success. I can't even hear the mail mahalo anymore.

    21. Creator Dave Gauntley on April 22, 2014

I loved my watch for the couple of months of use I got out of it.

Then the NFNT logo fell off and wedged over one of the numbers.

I emailed re: warranty, and heard nothing, I moaned via twitter...'you'll hear in 2-3 days' well that was over a month ago. I suspect it would cost more to ship back and have it repaired, than to buy a new one. I'm leaning towards trying to fix it myself but that's a pain, about the only way I'm leaving this as a happy customer is one appearing in my letter box without me having to pay the import tax!

    22. Creator iamtheceo on March 20, 2014

This was the worst kickstarter project that I have backed to date. The product was executed so poorly that it arrived broken to many people. The best part was that I was told to send the watch back for a replacement and they sent me a watch that was worse than the first. So after my initial $70 I got to waste an additional $40, on shipping, to get an even bigger piece of garbage. NFNT just so you know your materials, design, and even the stupid wood box were all junk. Thank god I don't have to get any more of your stupid "Mahalo" emails.

    23. Creator maarten on March 19, 2014

I don't know how expensive it is for you guys to send a whatch to Europe but if I send it to you for repairs it is going to cost my as good as the same amount as the 55 USD I pledged. Let alone the hustle I had to go throug of getting it trhough customs.

Any other options on how I can get a whatch without the hour marker that fell off without having to pay the same price as the intial pledge?

I asked this through facebook and in a personal message on Kickstarter but never got an answer.

    24. Creator martin powell on March 13, 2014

Loved the watch for all of 2 weeks and then it cracked right where the first link attaches to the watch face. I could understand if it had been yanked or dropped but the watch was well looked after and I didn't even allow people to touch it. If it had of been one of the links I could of just removed it but sadly its not possible. I would of complained or something ages ago but just put it down to the wood being way too soft for a functional watch.
I will defo use it again if I can be bothered to attempt a fix on it.
Overall its a good looking watch but definitely not for regular use!

    25. Creator NFNT on March 5, 2014

@Darrell - Thanks for the suggestion!

    26. Creator Darrell O'Donnell on February 24, 2014

A bunch of my stuff starting falling off, both N's from logo and a few of the time pieces. A suggestion would be to have those items burned in like the back panel. Then you don't have to worry about glue.

    27. Creator NFNT on February 17, 2014

@Didier - We would love to have another project (and have had one in the works for quite some time), however, we're trying to take care of all of our backers from this project, as many have had issues with their watches.

    28. Creator iamtheceo on February 11, 2014

So I finally got a replacement watch delivered to me today, too bad one of the number markers had already fallen off and the watch looks worse than the one I sent back. Thank you NFNT for letting me waste an additional $40 to ship the watch back to you.

    29. Creator Didier Auffret on January 27, 2014

Are you going to have another project?

    30. Creator adam filgo on December 23, 2013

I loved this watch and so did my current foster dog. It unfortunately makes a very desirable chew toy :(

    31. Creator ra66itz on December 2, 2013

sadly my infinity 8 fell of yesterday ;(

    32. Creator Tim on November 26, 2013

The F of NFNT fell off when I was altering the time last week. Second to do this after having first one replaced.

    33. Creator Niels Daxl on October 27, 2013

Hi, can anyone of you post instructions how to open the clasp and get rid of the rattling sound without damaging the clasp? theres a youtube video for any problem in that world - but that one seems missing...

    34. Creator Ricky on October 22, 2013

@iamtheceo: Mine isnt exactly falling off, however, numerous numbers look tarnished.

    35. Creator NFNT on October 16, 2013

@Evan, we're in the process of responding to all the messages. We were in China working with manufacturers to improve the quality of the watches. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    36. Creator Evan Kok on October 16, 2013

Has anyone received messages or heard from these guys? I sent a faulty watch back weeks ago and despite emailing, sending Facebook and kickstarter PM's, I've heard nothing. Very poor service in my opinion. Seems like I'll never see that watch again.

    37. Creator iamtheceo on September 19, 2013

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many people received watches where the silver on all the numbers was peeling off?

    38. Creator Paul C. on September 19, 2013

@PHNX Boards - nice write up. And I still continue to get comments when I'm wearing the watches (I got both 42s and 50s). I have 60+ watches and I try to rotate through them all wearing a different one every day. But since I got them, my Woodys have jumped ahead into the rotation a few extra times as they are just so unique and enjoyable to wear. I really love how light they are. It's so interesting to not feel any sensation of wearing a watch when wearing the Woody. BTW, on your comment about buying another one if it stopped working after your accidental dunking. I know what you mean. I actually got quite a few extras. Some for gifts, but still a couple of extras of each size just for me. I just had a feeling the watches would be special and thought I should have some backups just in case. Now I'm so glad I did as the are definitely special. I'm not sure what NFNT will do next, but there will always only be one original KickStarter Big Face Woody!!!

And no question NFNT did a great job on the project especially considering it went from one 50mm no date style to 6 total styles, a significant increase in the complexity to manage. Yes, for those who have issues I know NFNT will come through for you.

      Thanks again NFNT!!!!!

    39. Creator NFNT on September 13, 2013

You can buy the watches on our website:

    40. Creator Eric Scott James on September 13, 2013

Hi Guys. I'm curious about buying another watch. Can you tell me how to go about doing that? I have gotten tons of positive feedback and I want to make sure I have a backup watch, ya know.. just in case.

    41. Creator PHNX Boards / Steve Geiger on September 12, 2013

Hey NFNT backers, I know its a leap of faith to back KS projects, and seems like some of you have had some issues, but these guys have shown to be trustworthy and I believe your patience will be rewarded. As someone who also launched on KS (PHNX Boards snowboards), I am all too aware of the myriad challenges getting a product up and running. The amazing amount of attention to detail put into this launch proved they are seriously committed to this watch. The watch itself is totally cool and the packaging was over the top cool. I got my watch long ago and like Paul C. who commented on Aug 6, I constantly get comments from strangers anytime I'm out in public! It's crazy. This watch is unlike any other watch and I just want to send my support to NFNT and any backers with issues to say that any delays/difficulties you are having is worth working out since this watch is so cool. Oh, and BTW, I made the mistake of jumping in a swimming pool and the face filled with water, and despite it not being waterproof, once it all leaked out the watch kept working! I was expecting to have to buy another one, and will do it if this one ever stops.

    42. Creator NFNT on September 4, 2013

      Aloha All!

Sorry for any delays. We've been in the process of moving our HQ and are finally getting settled in. We'll be responding to any messages and concerns in the coming days. Thank you for your patience.

    43. Creator Peter Soekamto on August 28, 2013

Please send me the label for returning the package. (concerning replacement 35mm with date function).

    44. Creator iamtheceo on August 27, 2013

I sent you guys an email 25 days ago about the defective watch that you sent me and still have not received a reply back.

    45. Creator Priesh Mistry on August 26, 2013

Hi , I've still nort received mine yet can you check for me please .

    46. Creator NFNT on August 23, 2013

Joseph, sorry you didn't get the confirmation email. I just checked and your package is in the load of boxes headed to the post office in 30 minutes.

Chris, glad yours is working better this time!

    47. Creator Chris Tufano on August 23, 2013

@Peter I had the same issue man. I sent my watch back a while ago and they turned it around and the new one has been working flawless, so dont be concerned!

@Rest, I'm not concerned about the resize links. Mine fits my big ol girthy wrist perfect :P

    48. Creator Joseph Horkey on August 23, 2013

I have not received anything yet.

    49. Creator NFNT on August 23, 2013

N.H. and Bryan, Yes, we will be working on those over the next week. It's a lengthy process per refund, and so it will take us some time to complete them all, but we are working on them. Thanks for your patience!

      Peter, check your inbox.

Joseph, you should have received a shipping confirmation today (tonight, depending on where you are). I know I printed a label for your package earlier.

    50. Creator Joseph Horkey on August 22, 2013

I have sent them my watch, and have not heard anything from them since. Tracking shows it was delivered, but I am trying to be patient while I wait for a response from my last few messages.
