      This was the worst kickstarter project that I have backed to date. The product was executed so poorly that it arrived broken to many people. The best part was that I was told to send the watch back for a replacement and they sent me a watch that was worse than the first. So after my initial $70 I got to waste an additional $40, on shipping, to get an even bigger piece of garbage. NFNT just so you know your materials, design, and even the stupid wood box were all junk. Thank god I don't have to get any more of your stupid "Mahalo" emails.

      I don't know how expensive it is for you guys to send a whatch to Europe but if I send it to you for repairs it is going to cost my as good as the same amount as the 55 USD I pledged. Let alone the hustle I had to go throug of getting it trhough customs.

      Any other options on how I can get a whatch without the hour marker that fell off without having to pay the same price as the intial pledge?

      I asked this through facebook and in a personal message on Kickstarter but never got an answer.

      Loved the watch for all of 2 weeks and then it cracked right where the first link attaches to the watch face. I could understand if it had been yanked or dropped but the watch was well looked after and I didn't even allow people to touch it. If it had of been one of the links I could of just removed it but sadly its not possible. I would of complained or something ages ago but just put it down to the wood being way too soft for a functional watch.
      I will defo use it again if I can be bothered to attempt a fix on it.
      Overall its a good looking watch but definitely not for regular use!

      A bunch of my stuff starting falling off, both N's from logo and a few of the time pieces. A suggestion would be to have those items burned in like the back panel. Then you don't have to worry about glue.

      Has anyone received messages or heard from these guys? I sent a faulty watch back weeks ago and despite emailing, sending Facebook and kickstarter PM's, I've heard nothing. Very poor service in my opinion. Seems like I'll never see that watch again.

      @PHNX Boards - nice write up. And I still continue to get comments when I'm wearing the watches (I got both 42s and 50s). I have 60+ watches and I try to rotate through them all wearing a different one every day. But since I got them, my Woodys have jumped ahead into the rotation a few extra times as they are just so unique and enjoyable to wear. I really love how light they are. It's so interesting to not feel any sensation of wearing a watch when wearing the Woody. BTW, on your comment about buying another one if it stopped working after your accidental dunking. I know what you mean. I actually got quite a few extras. Some for gifts, but still a couple of extras of each size just for me. I just had a feeling the watches would be special and thought I should have some backups just in case. Now I'm so glad I did as the are definitely special. I'm not sure what NFNT will do next, but there will always only be one original KickStarter Big Face Woody!!!

      And no question NFNT did a great job on the project especially considering it went from one 50mm no date style to 6 total styles, a significant increase in the complexity to manage. Yes, for those who have issues I know NFNT will come through for you.

      Hey NFNT backers, I know its a leap of faith to back KS projects, and seems like some of you have had some issues, but these guys have shown to be trustworthy and I believe your patience will be rewarded. As someone who also launched on KS (PHNX Boards snowboards), I am all too aware of the myriad challenges getting a product up and running. The amazing amount of attention to detail put into this launch proved they are seriously committed to this watch. The watch itself is totally cool and the packaging was over the top cool. I got my watch long ago and like Paul C. who commented on Aug 6, I constantly get comments from strangers anytime I'm out in public! It's crazy. This watch is unlike any other watch and I just want to send my support to NFNT and any backers with issues to say that any delays/difficulties you are having is worth working out since this watch is so cool. Oh, and BTW, I made the mistake of jumping in a swimming pool and the face filled with water, and despite it not being waterproof, once it all leaked out the watch kept working! I was expecting to have to buy another one, and will do it if this one ever stops.

      @Rest, I'm not concerned about the resize links. Mine fits my big ol girthy wrist perfect :P

      I ordered 2 watched (40mm and 35mm) , and I also have the same problem on my 35 mm watch (imprecise time, slow movement).

      Hey Ryan,

      So, my first day wearing one of the Woodys. I’m wearing a 42 today.

      So far I have had 4 unsolicited comments about the watch at work – “is that a new watch”, “that looks cool”, “let me check it out”, etc.

      I have a LOT of watches. I have never had so many unsolicited comments from so many people in so short a time. I have fancy chronographs, expensive watches, skeleton automatics, a lot of really nice looking watches. But still the 42 Woody has solicited the most comments in the shortest time of any watch I have ever had.

      One of the elements is the light, bright color. I have a bit of a tan and dark hair on my arms and it really stands out and draws attention. But regardless of that, once the attention is drawn to it, the resulting comments are very positive about how it looks and how unique it is. I always take it off to show people how light it is. They are as amazed as I was when I picked up the first one.

      And for me personally, I liked it when I opened the first box. But since last night it has grown on me even so much more. It’s just so simply elegant. I absolutely love it.
