Zwiercies Card Game
The Zwiercies Card Game has 168 cards! That includes not only what you would see in a traditional deck of playing cards but it has 11s, 12s and 13s, 4 extra suits, suited jokers, normal jokers, "Loop" cards, "Rewind" cards and more to make up a new card game with familiar twist.
The card play is similar to a "rummy" style game. Full instructions included with set.
Breakdown of Cards in Zwiercies Card Game Set
The core set of the Zwiercies Playing Card Game Set includes 112 cards in all:
- 52 Normal Playing Cards (clubs, diamonds, spades, hearts)
- 52 for the Extra Suits (moons, stars, and 2 more to be chosen)
- 24 of the 11s, 12s & 13s for 8 suits
- 8 Suited Jokers
- 10 Normal, Creature, Non-Suited Jokers
- 22 Assorted cards like Loop Cards, Rewind Cards, Lose 2 Cards, Choose 2 Cards and Lose 6, Choose 6 Cards
Actual cards included in the final version may vary as we tweak card play.

Card Back Design
The card back design features a series of clock mechanisms and numbers that represent and give the time manipulation powers to Zwiercies.
The basic pattern for each of the above decks will be like this. We may change the base color depending on what the community wants.
$4,850 - Project funded! This means we will print the LIMITED EDITION, normal deck of cards, the Two2Six (6-handed) set and the Zwiercies Card Game.
The name "Zwiercies" itself came from combining 3 languages to make a word that loosely meant the same as the name of the original set, "Two2Six". The idea for the name started because we were trying to create a SUPER PACK of playing cards that could incorporate not only a variety of playing card games, but we wanted it to allow more players to be able to play and we wanted it to have it's own card playing rules to it. So we started looking at different languages and finalized on the following:
Zwei - is the German word for "two"
Èr - is the Chinese word for "2"
Seis - is the Portuguese name for "six"
So the combined German, Chinese and Portuguese words with our own little changes ended up being "Zwiercies". We probably don't pronounce it quite like those languages but instead use the English pronunciation of the "w", we put the emphases on the "er" and we changed the spelling of Seis. Pronounced as /zwei-Èr-seis/ but spelled "Zwiercies".
To find out more about our Two2Six Playing Card Set please check out Newt's Games. At the time of this campaign the deck was out of stock but we are will be getting our 3rd edition reprinted soon. The Two2Six deck is a more traditional 6-handed playing card set with normal court or face cards.
Aside from the Zwiercies Playing Card Game rules you can also play many of the normal card games you know with a little added twist.
Here are the cards place in basic order of rank for most card games... 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. The joker can be used in Super Solitaire for any card of the same suit. In "6 Handed Party Poker" you would use the suited jokers as a "wild" card but only as the appropriate suit. Standard Jokers could be used for any suit.
Here are a few of normal playing card games with the Zwiercies twist:
Party Poker (or 6+ Players)
Often times you want to sit down and play poker but you have 6 or more players who want to play. If you are playing something like "Texas Hold 'em" you can just use a normal deck of cards with no problems, but if you want to play 7 card, nothing wild, this is where you start to get in trouble. While there are still enough cards in a normal deck to play with 6 players, you cannot play with 9 or more! With one of these decks you are able to play with 9 or more players for an wild night of "party" poker. We like to use the deck every time we play with 6 or more because of the fun twist it adds to the odds of playing poker.
Six-Handed Five Hundred
The six-hand game of Five Hundred. For six players, you need a special 62-card pack (like this one) that includes spot cards numbered 11 and 12 in each suit and 13 in each of two other suits. The joker may be added, making a 63-card pack. This permits a deal of 10 cards to each player and three cards to the widow. There are two partnerships of three players on each side. This is solitaire gone crazy! Your rank of cards are as listed above with the 11, 12 and 13 being after the 10 but before the Jack. Basically you have MORE cards to play your favorite solitaire card game with. This adds a new dimension beyond what you could imagine. The 4 suited jokers can be used as "wild" cards but only with the appropriate suit. Be careful not to use your "wild" cards too early are you may still get beat. The options are endless!
Risks and challenges
This will be the 1st edition of the Zwiercies Card Game Set but our 3rd edition of this deck which was formally called Two2Six. We will be using the same manufacturer who printed our last 3 editions of our Canasta Clásico. The only risk would be in regards to time because sometimes it does take a little longer to get things from overseas.
We do the shipping ourselves as we are already used to shipping orders from our eCommerce site and other online sources. All Kickstarter orders will be imported in to our system and tracking numbers will be sent from there.
We print a minimum of a couple dozen different decks of cards every year and have become accustomed to the playing card process. We have a close relationship with our manufacturers who have consistently been producing decks of cards for us for several years.
