The knowledge of the world is hidden from the eyes of normal men. Only those deemed worthy in the eyes of those in the circle can earn the right to learn these secrets and enter the Inner Sanctum. But only one maybe chosen. Will you be the one? What are you willing to do, to sacrifice, for ultimate power?
Welcome to the Inner Sanctum, a game where you join the secret society, where you will control Businesses, Artifacts, Politicians, Spells, Rituals and other Cultists to be the first to the 7th level and enter the Inner Sanctum.
Beware those who would oppose you, using hit men, police raids, blackmail and more to thwart your efforts. Should you sell your soul for that edge, can you gather the favor of the Dark One himself. Beware those who would gamble everything on that one shot for ultimate power, or will that be you.

When you Sell your Soul, you turn your player card over to indicate you sold your soul. You can only do this one time per game.
Illegal Businesses are what fund the cults operations.
Beware your competitors calling in a Police Raid to shut down your Business operations.
Hit Men can go after anyone anywhere.
Artifacts are rare and precious, and be sure to read the contract carefully when you decide to Sell your Soul.
The game is played in 2 phases.
Phase 1 is a set collection phase where you gain control of the 6 different types of control cards. Players can play Action cards and Favor tokens to slow down or stop the opposition. Be cautious as using these will cause you to gain corruption. Corruption will restrict what you can do and accomplish. Too much Corruption and the Dark One will come for you.
In Phase 2 each player will secretly play their control sets. Whoever has the most of each set gains control of that area for the round and gains a level and a favor token for that area. It is possible to gain multiple levels and favors in one round. Failure to have control gets you nothing.
The first person to Level 7, wins.
However, there is one more option. If you can gain 1 of each of the 6 control areas, and hold the ritual card for calling the Dark One, you may attempt to call him. If he shows favor on you, you win the game. If he does not, you will suffer the consequences.
Calling the Dark One can allow you to grab Victory even if you are far behind, but gaining its favor, is dangerous, and usually leads to your quick demise.

Shipping is always an issue with any Kickstarter projects. We have always preferred to include shipping with the Kickstarter but with ever increasing postage rates, or projects coming in bigger, better and heavier than expected, we are having to change our policy like so many other Kickstarter companies, and charge shipping after the fact with Backerkit, during your survey.
We promise you we will do all we can to get you your copy of Inner Sanctum with the most reasonable amount of shipping as possible.

We wish shipping costs would be less, and if we sell hundreds overseas we will be able to use our distributors, reducing the shipping costs for the rest of the world to ~$15 as well.

Risks and challenges
There is very little to no risk at all to this project. The only real chance for any delays would be real life tragedy.
The game has already designed and play tested hundreds of times. The manufacturer is lined up ready to start manufacturing. We will run into the Chinese New Year, but this has already been taken into consideration for the timeline.
We have published many other products before this one, so we are very familiar with the process, and do not expect any surprises. We have run 16 other successful Kickstarters before this one. All have either delivered on time or are currently on schedule except one, which was only one month late.
Several of our Kickstarters have even delivered early. New Comet Games has become a company that can be trusted in this time of Kickstarter uncertainties.
