In the fog shrouded islands off the coast of the Reign of the Black Wyrm Kings Province, the inhabitants of the Labyrinth Islands enjoy a sport. A game of deadly consequences to the contestants, for the entertainment of the residents. When the adventurers are captured their survival depends upon how well they play. Can you survive the Brutal Games.
Brutal Games is a Full Color Adventure for the most popular fantasy role-playing game in the world available for the latest 5th Edition rule set and the still popular 1st/2nd Edition rules. This adventure takes 3-6 characters of levels 3-5 from the Storm Reef Island in the Wyrm Skull Gulf down to the Labyrinth Isles and into the Black Serpentine Swamps.
This adventure was written as the follow up to WoD-1: Citadel of Terror, and picks up right where that module ends. But Brutal Games can easily be played as a standalone, or slide into your own campaign with ease. The game changes every time you play through the adventure, offering different challenges and different goals with every game. We blended the Hunger Games, the Maze and the Running Man, into this easy to run, adventure.
Brutal Games is written by a great new young author, Reese Surles, and produced by the award nominated New Comet Games. This adventure is the 2nd adventure set in the upcoming new Fantasy RPG Setting, World of Darknoth, launching later this year by New Comet Games.
NOTE: All rewards that involve physical books, also come with the PDF through Drive Thru RPG if there is one available.
Brutal Games is set on the Labyrinth Isles off the coast of the Reign of the Black Wyrm Kings Province, on the continent of Draconia, in the World of Darknoth. Darknoth is a dark and dangerous world. Born from the ashes of hatred that comes from the rise of witches and the deadly Blood War.
The Reign of the Black Wyrm Kings Province, The Continent of Draconia and World of Darknoth maps were all created by the very talented Cornelia Yoder.
To get more information about the Labyrinth Islands, be sure to select the Digital Plus Reward Tier or higher, to include the Lore of the Labyrinth Islands in your rewards. The Lore provides an initial look at the description and background for the islands, providing special information for the area for a more in depth experience for your players. The Lore will be written by Gary Van Binsbergen, creator of the World of Darknoth.
Join us today on this exciting journey we will be taking together into this new world of Dragons, Demons, and Magic.
The Brutal Games adventure is complete, except for any stretch goals reached. The artwork, maps and final layout are not yet finalized. We expect the book to be between 50 to 100 pages when complete, based on the number of stretch goals reached.
Thank you for your Support.
We will be using Backerkit to collect shipping. This does 2 things for us. 1. We can be much more accurate on our shipping so we do not overcharge you. And we don't take the double hit of both Kickstarter and Backerkit taking their cut of the shipping money. Note that if you order a Banner they will be shipping directly to you from Vista Print, separate from the rest of your rewards.

Risks and challenges
There is almost no risk to this project. The only real chance for any significant delays would be real life tragedy.
The adventure is already finished. The cover art is complete and the artist is already working on the internal art. Our cartographer is ready to start on the maps as soon as we reach that stretch goal.
We have published many other modules before this one, so we are very familiar with the process, and do not expect any surprises. We have run many successful Kickstarters before this one. All have either delivered on time or are currently on schedule. Several of our Kickstarters have even delivered early.
We look forward to completing this project with the same efficiency and quality that we put forward with all our projects.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
