ABC News, Brooklyn Eagle, Talib Kweli and more heard your pledge!

Dear New Brooklyn Theater supporters,

This week we have a lot of news to report! Tonight we wanted to share with all of you that because of your support we are going to be on ABC news at 6am and 4pm tomorrow, Monday September 10th. The piece will include our total funds raised and number of backers, so let's push to make sure they know we mean business. Let’s see if we can get to 300 backers and $25,000 by the end of the night!

Also, we're happy to report that several individuals and companies have expressed interest in partnering with New Brooklyn Theater. We are having meetings with politicians, community leaders and real estate interests to further ensure that the theater will be preserved and active for years to come.

Coming this week we’ll be tweeting incentives for new and increased pledges PLUS announcing the first round of bands included on the compilation disc! So be sure to follow @new_brooklyn.

Please continue to spread the word. Get your friends, family, organization members, and anyone you know that understands the importance of the arts in our communities to donate today. Let's show ABC news and the world at large that it's time to stand up, take action, and enrich Brooklyn for generations to come.
