Undead Viking's Dark Dealings Review
Note: The above review videos were done using what is now called Hardcore Rules. The new Normal Rules are designed for casual and strategy-addicted gamers alike who want to play Dark Dealings without the memory and player elimination mechanics. Both ways are awesome.
We (Bryan & Corey) are Nevermore Games, a games publisher based in Richmond, Virginia. We are experienced Kickstarters, having successfully funded Chicken Caesar, Mars Needs Mechanics, Dark Dealings, and Spires with the help of awesome backers. We love strategy and replay value in the games we play, so we strive to publish games that embody those things as well. Michael D. Kelley and Peter Gousis, the brains behind Dark Dealings, are really excited about this expansion content and Kickstarter. I know the artist, Rob Lundy, is super excited to be back on board and delivering more amazing artwork. Together we're going to strive to make this campaign a fun one, but we can't do it without you!
Risks and challenges
Publishing board games is a complicated process, but we are doing everything we can on our end to eliminate mistakes and delays. We have run four successful Kickstarter campaigns and are humbled by the stellar support we've received during each project.
Most of the artwork for the Dwarven Delve expansion is already done and the base game artwork is of course finished. Both the Dark Dealings and Dark Dealings: Dwarven Delve have been extensively play tested. We wouldn't have it any other way. While there will be some work to do post-Kickstarter, we are confident we'll be getting the final art files to the printer in a timely fashion so we can meet our projected delivery schedule.
We promise to be transparent in our process and communication. We will update you often and with as much information as we can. We'd love to share in this process with all of you and will strive to do that to the best of our abilities!
