FINAL WEEK! How about a free hardcover upgrade?

Hi everyone!

This is it – the final stretch, just one more week left (less, actually), and we’re looking forward to putting this beauty together for you! The campaign has really turned into a tango these last several days, with people cancelling their pledges (for mysterious reasons) while new people join or raise their pledge… it has been “two steps forward, one step back” for the entire third week of the campaign, but we know that’s how it goes. It’s this last week that really matters!

So what are we gonna do to make it more interesting? Well, you know this next stretch goal? The one we’re only about $325 away from hitting? The one that was going to open up a limited edition hardcover option? Well, we decided that if we hit that goal, we’re just going to make the entire print run hardcover. Yes, you read that right –

If we hit that stretch goal, EVERYONE GETS A HARDCOVER UPGRADE FOR FREE.

Just a mockup -- contemplating different cover ideas!
Just a mockup -- contemplating different cover ideas!

Tier prices stay the same, shipping stays the same, the only thing that changes is that your support will be rewarded with a fat, 200-page HARDCOVER volume instead of a fat, 200-page paperback. We did the math, and it makes a bit more financial sense to just do the full run as hardcover than to split the run between formats.

Assuming we hit that next target, that is.

So spread the word and push us over that stretch goal line, and EVERYONE WILL BENEFIT!

If we can surpass that number over the weekend, we may announce another stretch goal for something truly limited (perhaps a slipcase), but first things first.

Thanks, everyone!
