Pools of Murky Depths is a turn based RPG inspired by D&D classics of old with a streamlined user interface and retro inspired graphics. In Pools of Murky Depths your custom party of adventures will confront the vile minions of the dark dragon Viscatu that are wreaking havoc throughout the land.
Modern user interface
Pools of Murky Depths aims to be a streamlined experience that gets you to the action fast with minimal clicks.
A “power wheel” that allows quick selection of character actions through visual aggregation.
A “hyperlink” system quick access to details on dice roles, monsters, NPCs, and characters
A streamlined inventory that is shared across the entire party restricted only by party strength. It allows the player to sell anything from their inventory at any time. When the player is in a civilized area allows the player to buy anything from any local vender just by bringing up their inventory.
Using the Open SRD Pools of Murky Depth will feature a set of feats, skills and magic.
Pools of Murky Depths will allow you build your own custom party from a selection of character races and classes.
Randomized map layouts
With the exception of plot specific locations maps will be randomized for variety.
How will it be made?
Pools of Murky Depths will be developed in Unity3D targeted for iPad release. Based on demand will be ported to other systems.

I have seven plus years of enterprise software and database design and implementation experience. I have built enterprise software in a variety of verticals and have successfully started my own consulting company. Ever since high school I dreamed of making games. It was what first inspired me to start a Graphic Design degree and to later complete a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. I am blessed, others might say cursed, with an overwhelming urge to build and create. Pools of Murky Depths is the one game idea that constantly calls for me to create it.
